How can I disable the firefox check of add ons every time I want to go out on the internet. I have a few addons that dont bother anything, but slows my system

Not much detail. When I initiate firefox for some address, I get a box that says" Checking add ons to firefox" bothers me as I have a couple of add ons, but it breaks the thought train, and slows the process down quite a bit. I would like to simply eliminate that particular action. Apparently it was part of the update for FireFox 49.0.1 I dislike changes once I get used to using a program and this, in my opinion, is unnecessary, and just another cog in the machine which has too many cogs as it is.
