why can't I get Firefox to synchronize my bookmarks from my computer to my phone?

Everytime I try to synchronize my bookmarks it asked me to confirm my account when I do so do the link to the email it asked again over and over and over again. In my opinion this is a major bug that needs addressed fast or Firefox is going down the toilet.
