Firefox crashes when printing to PDF or physical printer

This has been happening for many months, so multiple versions of MacOS and FF may apply.

This doesn't happen when I print to PDF or a physical printer from Safari or Chrome -- though, to be sure, I print from these browsers less often -- I use FF most, and I print to PDF much more than to my physical printer.

The crash occurs after resetting the Mac printing system and after using the "Reset Firefox" command. It also occurs in FF Safe Mode.

Procedure to reproduce: 1) Launch FF, 2) go to some familiar web page, 3) activate File --> Print --> PDF --> Save to PDF, rinse, lather, repeat #3, accepting overwrite of existing file. Within 2-4 repetitions, FF crashes.
