i have two firefox icons on el capitan dock ?

firefox must have updated itself (got message saying update available but didnt) when i turned on imac next time.

I chose my user rather than default and it all works BUT..... there aer two icons on the dock but only 1 has the dot underneath to say its active and i cant drag away the other ?

not a big problem but somethings gone wrong and id like to sort it out please. Any ideas ?
