my computer has both ipv4 and ipv6 addresses.

When I go to any website, the website will log my ipv4 address.

assuming the website is ipv6 ready, Is there a way to make firefox use ipv6 on that website so that the ipv6 address is logged instead of my ipv4?

Is there a proxy config or something?

By default network.dns.disable.IPv6 is not disabled.

I think that the ipv6 address needs to be specified on the site itself. In Firefox there is an about:config that is called network.http.fast-fallback-to-IPv4 that is set to true by default. You can try to change that to false, but I could not tell you the likelyhood of that where its not an option. I am pretty sure its a standard. I am pretty sure it it: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4291

I just confirmed. I will try ipv6 first. However if it is falling back it might suggest that the AAAA DNS record is not ipv6.
