New install not picking up any profiles with profile manager Tried everything Checked everything HELP !!! :)

I have moved thunderbirds a lot of times , but this has me stumped :)

I have a new pc ,  running windows 7 (same s previous setup)  , new TB install, I have gone to Profile manager created a default profile - Received the new startup message add email etc  (Lets call this A)   then I've tried the following:

1. copy files to default Still receive A 2. create new profile , new path using complete copy of old profile eg B (this is my usual method and normally works ) When I choose this new B profile via profile manager (PM) and select the path etc - receive the same message add email (A) 3. Checked the profile ini - correct default B Correct path still receive A 4. Created another profile copy only mail and Imap info even removed the msf files STill receive A 5. Uninstalled TB and reinstalled tried the above again - still A 6. Tried to install the extension export/import but cannot get the Mbox option to show up 7. Turned off Avast whilst trying the above again in case Virus Program was an issue 8. Deleted profile ini and started TB up then closed TB to create a new profile ini - still receive A 9 Checked, checked and double checked path is correct to profile all the pref.js etc are there (normally this is fine) 10 Copied old profile to the same path as first original profile still receive A 11. Threatened to push PC of table :) still received A

As a have years of Local folders created with past emails it is not an option for me to just add each email address and start again as I will not have the local folders archived.

I have tried everything on the forums, moving manually etc etc etc however I cannot get past the A (new email add)? I have never had this issue before. I would Really love some new ideas or options here as I really don't know what to do next 5 hours spent on this already when normally its up and running within 1 hour (time it takes to copy the old profile to hard drive :) )
