When typing in hebrew I can't see the letters typed.

Downloaded Firefox 39.0 installed on Mountain Lion OX 10.6.8

When I write in Hebrew, I can't see the letters being written however the search engine tries to autocomplete my search query. Around the web, Hebrew works fine.

It seems to be limited to websites input fields ( facebook messaging, search engines etc. ) and Firefox's native search fields like the url bar and the search bar.

Tried downloading the hebrew IL pack addon, didn't seem to effect anything.

Please help :) Without functioning hebrew I'll have to go back to Chrome and I REALLY don't want to.
