Just in case anyone wants to know the outcome... I tested the RAM and both sticks were faulty. Problem solved!! Thank you from the depths of my heart!

This is probably caused by an issue with your computer's memory. All of these crashes occur during garbage collection (when memory issues typically show up), and occur when your computer is using between 31% and 35% of it's available memory, suggesting there is a specific piece of memory that is malfunctioning. Can you try running the memory test tool at http://memtest.org/ and see what it says? Thank you!

This is an interesting possibility. I am aware of a problem with my memory (Computer only recognizes one "stick" at a time) and we have not figured out why. My IT friends cannot tell me why but have not had time to work on it for me (they donate time when they can since we are a small non-profit).

I'll work on this and let you know what happens...  :-)) Thanks!

The crash report flagged;

Nvwgf2um.dll = NVIDIA Compatible D3D10 Driver = NVIDIA Corporation

Download and install their current software.

I build my own PC's, too. The last time I ran into a problem like "one stick at a time" was in 2008; the solution was to flash the BIOS to a newer version - on an ASUS M2V-MX SE motherboard. At the time I built that PC, that motherboard had been in production for almost 3 years and was soon to be discontinued. I had one (probably from the last run and revision number - based upon the sticker on the box, so it wasn't "New Old Stock" from the back of a lower shelf in the warehouse) that had a BIOS from the first year of production - had been superseded by 6 newer BIOS versions. With the new BIOS flashed I could "see" the whole 2 GB of RAM.

The crash report flags things causing problems to help us find the cause of the problem.

Go to the NVIDIA Corporation website, and get the current full installers for any of their programs you have.

The you, the-edmeister! I received an email from you and tried to reply, but could not because I could not find it on this forum. I do not know how to flash my bios. I spoke to a technician (he owns a computer store) about this several months ago when I discovered the problem and that is what he proposed as well (flashing the bios). However, he has not found the time to do it and said he needed to take it to his shop to get the job done. I'll try to call him again. I don't see why I can't do it right here once I know how. My time is terribly limited because, like most non-profits, we are understaffed and overworked. ...willingly. I'll learn how and try it.

Thank you, FredMcD! This is another good question. (I'm sure glad I came to this thread. You guys are very helpful). Every now and then when I boot up, I get a little box in the lower right-hand corner that tells me I need to upgrade my NVIDIA. When I try, it tells me that have the latest updates. This irritates me because I don't understand why this box keeps coming up.

That was very good work. Well Done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.

See the motherboard manufacturers website for information about flashing a new BIOS. That information is usually located on the page where new revision BIOS downloads are available.

Years ago the BIOS files would fit on a floppy disk, and was installed thru DOS. Boot using the DOS start disk then insert the BIOS disk and type the "run" command for installing the new BIOS. Now-a-days the mobo manufacturers have utility programs to flash the BIOS thru Windows or from a USB Flash drive before the operating system is booted, after changing the boot sequence to USB as the first device. At my age (I was born in the last year of the first half of the last century) change isn't as easy as it once was, but it is a lot easier now than when I built my previous PC in 2008, although I do miss the floppy drive ... something I got used to using way back in 1984 with my first IBM-XT PC. Then again in 1984 I was mourning the "loss" of cassette based media that I used on my Sinclair X-80 based computer and Radio Shack computer that I used prior to the XT ...
