Hi Deirdre_Lisa, sorry to hear about the crashes. Could you do us a favor and copy/paste that list of crash report IDs into a reply (i.e., as text instead of an image)?

https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1069379#question-reply

When you paste them here, the site will link them to your reports automatically. This isn't obvious until after you click Post Reply. Thanks.

If the "bp-" prefix is missing then click its line on the about:crashes page to submit the crash report and the crash report will get a "bp-" prefix (do not add it yourself).

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:

Those reports are crashes in the Shockwave Flash plugin or hangs that might be related to Flash.

Did you already check for issues with the Flash plugin like I suggested above?

I am not sure what you are asking me to do. I uninstalled the program yesterday and started from scratch, I also checked to make sure things were up to date

Except for the most recent crash, which indicates a problem shutting down Firefox, the others indicate the same sequence of a events: Flash plugin making a call to a system function. ([@ hang | WaitForMultipleObjectsEx | RealMsgWaitForMultipleObjectsEx | MsgWaitForMultipleObjects | npswf32_18_0_0_194.dll@0x3788ae ])

Unfortunately, it's not obvious why the call did not succeed. Do you notice this issue with particular kinds of Flash media, such as videos or games?

You could try disabling the protected mode feature of the Flash player plugin. That feature has security benefits, but seems to have serious compatibility issues on some systems. There is a hidden setting to disable it; I suggest trying this for a day to see whether it helps:

(A) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(B) In the search box above the list, type or paste flash and pause while the list is filtered

(C) Double-click the dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable-protected-mode preference to switch its value from false to true.

This might not take effect until all Flash has been unloaded for a few minutes, or you close Firefox.

I will try this. I watch videos, mostly xfinity TV (live and on demand - which has its own set of crashing problems); while having 3 or 4 other tabs open at the same time
