I want to disconnect synch (stop reminders) but signed up so long ago I have only a username/password but no email so I can not disconnect from synch, HELP!?
It is impossible to stop those synch reminders because I can not disconnect my synch account. I have a record of a username and password but no record of the email address I used many years ago to set up the account.

hello, you can simply unlink firefox from your sync account in the options > sync tab. or you can manage and delete the old account at https://account.services.mozilla.com/

This does not solve the problem.
The problem is that I can NOT unlink from synch. There is no option for this on the synch tab screen under options. And I can not delete the old account because it requires an email address that I do not know. I think I signed up so long ago that it did not require an email address since I have no record of one. It would work to upgrade to a new account and stop that but that requires closing the old one. I just want to stop those synch upgrade reminders.
Unlink was renamed to Disconnect... a few Firefox versions ago.
