Address bar won't show address

So, I accidentally removed the address bar and back-button with some weird right click. I right clicked again (up in that area), and nothing helped. I opened "Manage Firefox", and in the large "field" with things to add, I found the address bar. Both it and the back-button is now back.

The thing is, there is no address in the address bar! No matter what I do. And this is a problem, because I want to be able to type a suggestion, like YouTube, move through them with the down-key, pick one and alter the address, without entering that particular link. But the different addresses/links don't ever end up in the bar, only the word I originally typed, remains. And it stays there until I delete it.

This makes my internet-use so much more difficult, and it seems so completely pointless. (I'm not sure it looked exactly the same way before, either.) Halp?

Never mind - I always have two windows open, and noticed in one, strangely, it worked. I restarted and it worked again on both.
