Too many update requests from Adobe Flash from same videos at same site: YouTube.

Too many opportunities to let Adobe install bloatware at there site on my computer if I don't successfully uncheck microscopic checkboxes on their site!

Why HAVEN'T you a Flash alternative by now?

Why HAVEN'T you a Flash alternative that is stable by now?

hello jpeek345, you'll have to go about convincing web developers of dropping flash in favour of html5 web technologies which are readily available. mozilla will be all for a web that isn't relying on plugins!

in regards to youtube, you could disable flash there (through the plugin icon at the left of the address bar), videos should still play fine with webm or h264 video formats that can be played back natively...

mozilla is working on a html5 flash renderer as well, but it is still in a rather experimental state: www.areweflashyet.com

Ok.

Thank you.

I entered the word "flash" into my Mozilla "get add-on" window (and no- not "extensions") and the interface turned up the default prompt "nothing here for that term etc.". It must have been a build-sticking-instance for my DELL Lattitude E6410 and a new Mozilla FF browser version.

This is why I had expressed myself with that mood at the time.

However, thank you for the fresh state-of-the-internet info.

I apreesh.

Dump flash. Uninstall it. It's unnecessary and it's probably the most insecure (unsafe) piece of software on your computer.

Use HTML5 or you are putting yourself at risk.
