Can't scroll through any screens with my mouse.
I just downloaded Firefox to my computer last week because we are going to be going to a new software and they recommended we use Firefox. I am not able to use my mouse to scroll up and down the pages. I have to use the side scroll bar which is not really efficient. I just want to be able to use my mouse to move better. I am using Windows 7 on a regular PC. I probably have a setting that needs to be changed but I can't find it. I have already gone into options and checked auto-scrolling and tried the other settings as well. HELP!! Thanks!! Carolyn

Is the mouse working outside of Firefox? Is it not working on all sites?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar
Select Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
Then restart.

If you have a three button mouse, click the middle button to turn the mouse into a scroll control. You can also use the mouse wheel.
