I Opened FireFox And Search Something In Google And Removed FireFox From My Recent Task Then Opened FF Again Now That Lab Is Gone...Its Like It Doesn't Remember I Have A Tab...After If I Use The Browser Longer Then This Wouldn't Happen

I'm not sure if this behavior is intended or not.. but it seems unusual and like some sort of glitch.

Firefox re-opens tabs after the browser is closed. Say I hypothetically open the app to make a Google search, open a few tabs from the results, do some research, then close the most recent 4 tabs and then immediately close the entire app.

Upon my next opening of the app, I'm served the New Tab screen. Tapping the square icon that brings up my list of currently open tabs, reveals that those 4 tabs from my previous session have returned. This has persisted through the last few updates, and I've just been living with it for a month or two. If I close a bunch of tabs at once and then keep browsing, sometimes I'm able to keep some of them dead, but some will come back I think. It's inconsistent and strange.

The browser for android is excellent in a lot of ways, but I find it really irritating when I open the app and see tabs I already closed in my previous sessions open in the new session. You end up having to close the same tab multiple times because each time you leave the app and return, the tabs are automatically reopened. Sometimes as many as 2 or 3 previously closed tabs are reopened automatically whenever the app is opened next. I just find this quirk highly annoying and I wonder if there's a fix for this

Like mins.kim's identical question on 2/11/22 that was never solved, I would like to open all my synched tabs at the same time on my android phone. How do I do this?

All of a sudden I started getting a strange download indication which didn't show up when I looked for it. Since then, when I press "+ New Tabs," a new tab doesn't open. A new tab opens only when I've clicked on a new link for a topic.

I cleared the cache, restarted my phone twice and un-and re-installed Firefox twice. I was originally synced with Firefox on my other phones, but I don't want to sign in again with that email until this problem is fixed. I haven't opened Firefox again on my previous phones since this all started. I'm going to cry if those versions are "infected" with this problem as well. I just can't erase all the data I've previously accumulated within Firefox on those devices, either.

Now I've looked in Firefox Support for this problem and I've looked again and again for a way to restart in Safe Mode, but I can't find it. Could someone please help me diagnose and fix this issue?

Previously I was able to rearrange the tabs in Firefox Nightly for Android in what ever order I wanted. This appears to no longer be the case after I updated it. I am asking to see if this is a bug, or said feature was removed on purpose.

Why doses back gesture doesn't delete the current tab. Whenever I go back to homepage it creates new tab and by the time I knew there are multiple tab that I need to close now. Back gesture should delete the current tab when we wanted to go to homepage. Chrome has this feature and Firefox should have this too. I just switched from that's why I am asking. Please guide me.

Hello, This is the second time all open tabs were closed after a update. What the hell! In the past there were never that kind of problem. You don't know how much work that is for to reopen all tabs again. Why does that happen?

Add a feature where when we make a tab desktop site, that tab no longer goes into phone mode. I have been using fire pox for a long time due to some issues I use chrome with it.If you can fix the problem we will use firefox a lot more and it will be great for you please update your app.I am giving some heels that are very useful to fix Fix the issue of repeatedly displaying the desktop site while browsing Firefox so that once the desktop is moved, it does not automatically switch to another mode.If the page does not zoom automatically, we can use Firefox very well on the phone.ই I am adding a screenshot that shows well that when working on google set the page is zoomed so much that I can't work. I have to use a payroll app for android that logs in on the default browser, mine being Firefox. After logging in on Firefox, I am redirected to the app. The issue is the tab on Firefox doesn't close, so every time I open Firefox it takes me to the payroll app before I can close the tab or even do anything. Restarting my phone seems to fix the issue, but that's unrealistic to have to do that every time I open an app that logs in through the default browser.

Have they ever given us an option to make a tab always open in desktop mode? Yeah, I realize everybody doesn't need it and the average person might not want it but there are enough of us though who do that, it should still be an option, hence the word option.

So if they haven't given us the option, is it possible to make them aware that there should be an option to make tabs open always and desktop mode for those of us who choose to do so? Those of us who are too ignorant to know any better won't be using them in the first place or those who have smart enough to realize that there is the option but chooses not to use it well. Guess what? They'll choose not to use it, but please don't restrict my options because you're trying to cater to those who don't want them. In this case more is better.

When I am finished with a tab and close it, and then close down Firefox app, when I click back into Firefox the tabs that I have closed are still there open. How can I stop this from happening without having to "quit" and clear cache etc all the time? Surely when you close a tab it should stay closed?

I have not been about to open new tabs for a while I guess this is due to upgrade I never realized this until I downloaded Firefox on my chromebook. Is anything that can be done or are we just out of luck now when using Firefox also what happen to the search bar is that gone forever as well. I really liked firefoxbut looks like have to find omitting else that wil work for my needs. Finally, is the menu bar gone as well. Please advise and answer all questions ty
