Been asked to report this here.

While not being used (phone off and charging at night) Firefox used up around 6GB of data and I have no idea why.

There were three tabs open at the time, two had been open for several days without issue, I think this was the other one.

I noticed this when staying somewhere with a flaky WiFi connection, as I got a warning about mobile data use, so it's entirely possible it isn't the first time.

Phone running Android 11.

On android phones, you can disable the gesture hint (white bar at bottom of screen). Other apps I have tried while having it disabled have no issue. With Firefox however... when gesture hint is off and i swipe up from the bar, my finger is technically swiping at the address bar, which (aside of sending me to home - because that's what the up gesture does on the bottom) opens the tab switcher.

just let me know how i can get things in order. i am not an expert in these fields, for years you have been good and, fairly, simple. now it is all a pain in the neck!! how do i correct this?

Hi! I´m a big shortcut user and a year-long Firefox fan and user. Now it´s the first time I´m using an Android tablet (Boox Tab X C) and the typical shortcuts for new tab (Ctrl + T), close tab (Ctrl + W), etc. do not work. I researched this a little and it seems to be by design. Why do you forsake us, Firefox god??

I have exported my bookmarks from Brave, which are in HTML format. I cannot find where you can import them into Firefox, I am using the Android version.

I would also like to know where the private window is so I can use YouTube.

I was using Firerox Beta on Android and yesterday or for the last couple days my Firerox account would keep getting logged out as in I'd have to sign in again and again to sync or send tabs to other devices. (It would repeatedly say sign in again to sync even after I sign in repeatedly).

I uninstalled Firefox Beta and installed Firefox stable on Android. No such issue so far.

TyDraniu, Thanks for your reply, but I should have clarified that I meant will Firefox on an Amazon Fire Tablet get a vpn? I read that Mozilla no longer supports Fire tablets. Thank you

on Android if I go to facebook in Desktop mode, the whole screen is translucent white and i can't press anything. switching to mobile mode no issue.

I don't have any Extension enabled, and i turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection but it didn't change anything.

I am attempting to sync my Lenovp pc and my Samsung phone. I get to where I am to scan but foxfitre doe6have a scan button for me. Google has a scan button but, of course, that doesn't work for foxfire.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a strange issue on a website I manage. Everything works as expected in Chrome on Android, but in Firefox for Android some users report layout and image-loading problems that I haven't been able to reproduce consistently on my own devices. I've already checked caching, responsive design, and basic CSS issues, but the reports keep coming in. Has anyone dealt with a similar Firefox-specific issue before, and what ended up being the cause?

Hi, I am using Firefox Beta on my android Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite and a OnePlus Pad 3. Since a recent update of Firefox beta I can no longer enter text into my Hosting UK webmail. If I access my webmail account via Google or Chrome the webmail account works fine. Could Firefox look into this or return to an earlier version that worked
