Search engines switches from Startpage, which I have added as an alternative browser, to either google or DuckDuckGo without prompting. App inactivity and swiping up to close Firefox both seem to prompt this behavior.

Only startpage and Wikipedia are enabled as alternative browsers, and all default ones are turned off.

Hello, I’ve recently switched to Firefox on my iPhone 13, running iOS 18.5. And for some reason I can’t seem to add bookmarks on my phone. I can add them fine on desktop but on my phone when I tap the “add a bookmark” star nothing happens.

I’ve been unable to find a simple way to disable A.I. suggestions in searches. I find this force feeding of A.I. suggestions ridiculous Thus, after ver 20 years I deleted Firefox from all my computer and phone.

Back in the days I changed from the Microsoft browser to Mozilla, to get away from updates that made no sense and that the Microsoft team couldn’t even explain themselves. Now unfortunately Im in the same place with Mozilla. To remove the Home Button makes no sense, whoever did it, will not be able to explain, what positiv has been achieved by doing it, and asking for help is a waste of time, as we don’t get any useful answer. Spending 1 hours looking through all material written by Mozilla on this subject, I even found a person writing “it was done to give the users easy access to their Home Page” and then I just had to check, that I wasn’t by mistake talking to Microsoft.

I’ve set up Kagi as my default search engine on Firefox for iOS, but every time I open the app, it seems to revert the default search engine to DuckDuckGo. Then I have to set Kagi as default again. It’s a very strange bug. I’m not sure if it only happens when you set a custom search engine as the default.

Until recently firedox handled this (see attaches ). It no longer display, just times out. If i go to same ip (which is on my network) with firefox on win 11 or even chrome on ios no issue. Site displays.. I have removed cache, website data etc.. please advise.

Hi! For 2 weeks now I cannot permanently set a default search engine. I've always set Brave as my default search engine in settings. All of a sudden this was changed to DuckDuckGo by Firefox without my knowledge. I can change it back to Brave, but as soon as Firefox is cleared from memory it will revert to DuckDuckGo. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? As it is now I cannot use Firefox when I always need to change the settings before using it.

As per title, browsing to my grafana server botches the saved password autofill by suggesting tens if not more of other saved passwords for the domain - despite the correct password already being set to be for the grafana webserver's URL correctly.

On desktop, this is not an issue and the autofill option is only the grafana account - which is correct.

Clear all data, history, cache, cookies. I found someone in my password account possibly my pictures which has banking, passport copied All sensitive. Hi - I’m experiencing that the Firefox app on my iPhone (iOS) has a bug where it’s causing it to automatically switch search engines from the search engine I have set in settings to another one that I have disabled. It’s becoming extremely annoying & frustrating that I have to go in and reset it every time it does it - which is close to four times a day. Also I’ve noticed that I can no longer delete search engines I don’t use. Please fix.

iOS 18.5 -> Firefox app Firefox 141.2 (59350) -> Menu (3 horizontal dots bottom near right) -> Bookmarks (top left) -> Add (top right) -> where does this added bookmarks go to? I cannot find it? I suspect Bookmarks are not being added from the phone. I sync between desktop and phone, currently having to add bookmarks via the desktop.

Firefox iOS updated this morning to 143.1 In private browsing it’s in dark mode automatically and won’t change even if changing to light in the settings.

Any help? Steve

Default search is reset to Google every time I close and reopen Firefox. How do I make Firefox remember my choices? I am setting Brave to be the default search.
