At the end of the download I get a message saying mounting failed

I click on download. After the download is complete, a message comes up saying mounting failed. The download is not successful. Is there another way to download?

Give us more information please,

  • what sort of device , Operating System and file system are you using ?
  • if it is a desktop computer for instance Linux, Windows or Apple
  • Where are you downloading from, and what instructions are you following ?

Which version of Mac OS do you have and which version of Firefox are you trying to install?

Firefox 3.0 versions and later require at least Mac OS X 10.4
