Lost Bookmarks following Microsoft upgrade (?)
Lost Bookmarks after Microsoft upgrade(?) Since I'm using the latest version of Windows I don't know what to call what happened that came by way of Microsoft. So far as I know, I'm the only one reporting this. It would seem that if this was a change initiated by Microsoft it should have affected millions of users.

So what kinda Windows upgrade are you referring to here.
How major was the update? If the updater asked if you wanted to save your data, that would be pretty drastic. Normally, it just stays in place.
Could you check the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+B) and see whether your bookmarks are still there, but possibly under a different category?
If your bookmarks aren't in the sidebar, could you check for other profiles as described in the first section of the following article: Recover lost or missing Bookmarks.
