My email account has been fine for years, suddenly this morning I'm getting this error. It also would'nt download my messages from server, did a new update get released and installed over the weekend? '''This is the error message i get: ''' An error occurred while sending mail: Could not get password for smtp.mail.me.com. The message was not sent. Re-generating passwords didnt help: I've tried generating a new app-specific password online, 3 or 4 times, the password works for just a minute. I deleted and created the account on thunderbird again to remove any setting issues. I dont think its a new setting with icloud server, since im using app-specific passwords (created for this purpose) Can anyone Help? Is anyone else having a similar issue? started recently?
