Hi, do you mean on your Windows Vista desktop? If you right-click the shortcut and choose Properties, does it show a tab called "Web Document"? If so, that's a Windows "favorite" -- a shortcut that opens a web page -- and if you delete it, it won't have any effect on the content on that web page.
