Mozilla Firefox keeps telling me that my Adobe Flash Player is outdated (as I said above), so I have tried to download the latest version, 23.0, but it keeps failing every time (at least 20 times). I have tried and tried to find a resolution to this problem but nothing seems to work. Please help. I see that there is 2 questions on your site that say they were resolved but I cannot open the answers to know what to do.

Your support details submitted on this forum show that you are currently running the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (v23).

Please ensure that you are running Windows XP Service Pack 3. Remove any previous versions of Adobe Flash Player or Adobe Shockwave Flash, via the WIndows Control Panel. Then download and install the latest version from here. Ensure that Firefox is completely closed during the installation process.

If the installation completes, but you continue to experience the message that you are running an outdated Adobe Flash Player, please let us know.

I have checked and I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3. I am still having these problems. It keeps coming up with an error telling me to download latest version of Adobe Flash Play 23.0, which as you have said I already have, so I cannot figure out why this is happening.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

First screenshot shows "Failed installation ..." from the Adobe Flash Player Installer - with Firefox running in the background.

You need to close Firefox before attempting to install Flash.
