Under Settings>Privacy/Security>Browsing Data there is no longer the option to Manage Cookies, despite the help section saying that is where to find it. There is no other place in all of Settings to find the list of cookies. There is only the ability to delete all cookies in History, which I have no desire to do. I edit the cookie list weekly, and it is only now, mid August 2026, under Firefox 153 on Win 10 that I no longer have access to them. How do I get it back?

With an older version, i was able to clear cookies after visiting secure sites(s) - now I can't find a way to do this. Please bring it back - I consider this to be extremely important for my security!

I'm concerned about cross-tab privacy. I have a paid Gmail account and recently explicitly removed the Google Sites app from that account as I don't create websites using it and I don't want Google tracking me on sites others create with it.

Using the most current Firefox for Windows and Duck Duck Go for search, I was blocked by Google from bringing up this site, with a message that "I don't have that app installed."

Gmail is open in a separate tab in my Firefox browser. I do power down my PC daily. On this same computer, I opened Bing and the site comes right up.

Why should I be blocked from seeing it in Firefox if I can see it in Bing? Is it because I'm signed in to Google to get to my mailbox in another tab? It appears that way since it is bringing up the same symbol top right as it does in Gmail.

Which Firefox version start distrusting Entrust Root CA?

Last update from mozilla was enabling Entrust CA distrust starting 1st Dec but no later information on version. Any help/insight is appreciated.

Often I can't access content indicated by a link in an article or email. I tried turning off the Firefox firewall, but it made no difference. Now I am unable to turn the firewall back on.

I really don't remember installing any plug-in related to it. The Youtube web page shows a download button at the bottom of the video window, when I click on it it opens a pop-up window to the Yt5s web page, but the mentioned web is full of forced advertising and all kind of irregular staff. When I go to the plug-ins section of Firefox it is not shown there. I have no idea how to remove this script. May you please help me?

Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva

Up until recently if I suspected a javascript error all I needed to do was type Ctrl-Shift-K and the console would display showing me javascript errors. With the most recent update of Firefox that doesn't happen. I can bring up the console but there are no errors displayed.

I have a question regarding the permission requests of the Simple Tab Groups extension by Drive4ik.

As I'm sure many of you know, this extension needs to: This add-on needs to:

• Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history
• Monitor extension usage and manage themes
• Display notifications to you
• Access recently closed tabs
• Hide and show browser tabs
• Access browser tabs
• Store unlimited amount of client-side data
• Access your data for all websites

This add-on may also ask to: Read and modify bookmarks

Theoretically, I find this extension useful but I am concerned about the "Access your data for all websites" requirement. I read through Mozilla's permission request messages for Firefox extensions documentation and it seems like granting this extension these permissions would be a huge risk for the work I do– investigative journalism. It seems like I'll trade organizational benefits for a wider attack surface.

Can anyone speak more about the risks involved with using this extension, the trustworthiness of the developer, and why it needs the "Access your data for all websites" capability?

Before i play the game stock market live in Dreamisland i felt suspicious about the activity then when i use the privacy badger extention its look normal activity .But they are blocking also privacy badger after they know that something going on.Is there any way to block them permenently. I like to prune my browser history manually to keep things I might need to get back to in the near future, but don't want to clog up my bookmarks with, and get rid of the rest. As of version 133, this has been made a lot more difficult, unless I'm missing an option somewhere. - In Settings, there's only the "all or nothing" approach for browser history, no way to be selective. (You can be selective when deleting cookies, but not history.) - In the History sidebar, where I used to do this, you can group by date or site. I used both: Group by site to avoid deleting the recent stuff I want to keep, and group by date to delete old things I no longer need (anything over a week old). It's no longer possible to delete e.g. everything from the gmail domain, or everything from October. I have to delete each. and. every. site. individually. For Gmail, for example, this means roughly a gajillion lines per visit. - In the sidebar, the keyboard Delete button no longer works either. I have to manually click the trash can icon, wait for it to vanish, click the next one...

Is the option to edit this efficiently completely gone, or am I missing something?

I think browsers should slow down their release cycle and release secure and debugged software. Take the time to fuzz, use static and dynamic security checkers. Maybe a release every 3 months. I am tired of re-imaging and switching between browsers to escape hackers.

Lately I've had to reload/refresh pages more frequently because of download issues. In order to the in FF I need to press the F5 key. To do the same thing in either Edge or Chrome all I need to do is right click and a little popup screen shows me the reload/refresh right there. Much more convenient to use. FF should use a similar technique.
