In the Library, the Search Bookmarks will find the website you are looking for, but the results list does not show you what subfolder the bookmark is in. This is very frustrating when you want to edit a site in the subfolder where it resides.

my windows 10 had a problem had to have fixed they coopied the data and i have the icon oin the desktop but will probable need to reinstall firefox will i lose all addons and book marks if have to reinstall firefox or do i just sign in and all will be there. i hated to have to do this but apparently they just copied the data and all appps and programs have to be reinstalled

Using File | Email Link in Firefox (105 and earlier) gets an error message (see image). Other programs simply invoke a new message. It looks like FF sends the wrong invocation.

On me demande d'installer Thunderbird à nouveau quand j'ouvre mon courriel. Est-ce que je risque de perdre les messages dans les différentes boîtes (envoie, entrant,....) si je fais cette mise à jours ?

I want to move TB from a win 7 machine on the C: drive to a win10 machine on the E: drive. I downloaded a fresh copy of TB to the win 10 machine and installed it in the D: drive. Completed set up and can send/receive emails. I copy/paste the profiles folders using a usb stick, putting it in the same folder on the D: drive as TB. However, TB doesn't see it. In Troubleshooting help, Environment variables, it clearly shows the roaming folder as C:, while the program is clearly D:. What have I done wrong and how do I correct it please? Today When I started my "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable"\ThunderbirdPortable.exe" My Thunderbird "Portable" opening panel contains no information. The only thing I could see was if I clicked on "Account Settings" Tab. The only way I could Fix it was Closing Thunderbird and renaming "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird "\ to C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable" to "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable-Broke" and the Start "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable-Broke\ThunderbirdPortable.exe"

I even Deleted My "C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profile" Folder and reinstalled "ThunderbirdPortable_102.10.0_English.paf.exe".

I think somewhere on local computer something is "Referencing" The "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable" Folder it won't let my Opening Page show anything.

If I copy "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable-Broke" and Rename it "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable" Folder it won't let my Opening Page show anything, But If I start "C:\_PortableApps.com\Thunderbird Portable\\ThunderbirdPortable.exe" I can see my Opening Page.

I can't remember if I added any files to "My Local Folders" In most of my Setups on other computers with different email addresses I usually do and I can't remember If I did on this computer for sure.

inbox displays the subject and date only of new emails ie NO message is shown nor any activity eg delete, forward etc. Double click on email and it is displayed in a new window

I am unable to send emails from my Thunderbird email account. There is no "dashboard" or options bar displayed when I hit "reply" to a message. Nor is there such an options bar to create emails.

This is worrisome.

Please advice.

My sent emails in Mozilla prior to August 4, 2023 just disappeared. How do I get them back? Someone suggested I check my archives folder, but I don't see a folder named "archives". Where would that be? Thank you in advance.

My Thunderbird updated on me and my classic view with the Buttons is GONE. Does not look anything like the previous version..

How do I get my old view back!

I've just now noticed the Threading automatic default grouping/marking of messages, and it is appalling. Thunderbird/Mozilla either needs to eliminate this (with appropriate warning notices, perhaps) or at least give us the ability to NOT link various messages. It's not only vastly annoying, it can cause severe real-world problems if anyone not in the CC or BCC fields is receiving these messages that were not intended for them.

I suppose for now, the only way to NOT link things that were never meant to be would be to change the Subject when discussing important topics.

Either that, or get a whole new mail service, which I'd prefer not to have to do.

In one of my folders used just for certain emails then are now disappearing and to get them back I have to click " show only emails from people in my address book. That is not always the case depending on the sender. Got a fix ?

i want to disable my spamblocker/ junk mail detector in firefox ..... it keeps sending legit emails to the spam file no matter how i adjust the junkmail settings....is there a way to just turn the spam/junk detector off altogether?

i already have spam detector through my cPanel at my webhost and another junkmail detector in antivirus/malware program on my desktop

i don't need firefox diverting legit emails that get through the earlier detectors.

I have spent the last TWO HOURS trying to find an answer to what should be a simple problem, and it seems not to exist!

I need to find out WHERE Firebird lists my email account PASSWORD.

I do NOT want to reset my password.

I simple need to know WHAT my password is, and since I set up the account [actually a few accounts] several years ago, my notes are evidently null and void, because none of those passwords seem to work.

My email is through verizon.net, which is one of the problems because they gave all of their email coltrol to AOL, which thouroughly sucks, and they seem not to have anyone who speaks fluent English who can assist me in FINDING the current password!

If ANYONE can help, it would be most greatly appreciated!!
