Thunderbird keeps asking for my password and password manager doesn't remember it. Each time I try to look at or respond to messages, it asks for my password --- I check the password manager box to remember it but it doesn't.
Should I delete thunderbird and then install a 2020 version where this was not a problem or is there a way to solve the problem with the latest current version

I regularly move my emails to local folders. Today, after updating to version 115.6.1, hundreds of emails in one particular folder appear completely blank, without subject, correspondents, or content (see picture). The rest of them are fine.
How can I restore the content of those emails?
Or maybe it's just a bug and they're not "real" emails. How do I know for sure?

Open thunderbird up and want to print an email. Most of the time the printer is the default. Once I print and then go to the next email to print, the default printer is gone and the only option is save to PDF. I can close thunderbird and reopen it and seems to alleviate the issue for a few times then back save to PDF only. Strange issue. I have reinstalled thunderbird a few times. All other programs on the pc I print from always use the defaut printer.

After clicking the Thunderbird to enter my email the whole system goes through connecte3d to uepat624@gmail.com then up comes a message from Thunderbird indicating "you may have too many cached connections use IMAP Advanced Settings to reduce cached connections" Then things continue on for probably 5 to 10 mins. sending login info, looking up IMAP, checking mail server capabilities, looking for folders, sending login, opening folder box, downloading
Eventually email inbox and messages come up. I can send, receive and send mass mailings but when you read a message and want to go back to the inbox you have to scroll all the little boxes at the top of the screen back to the one that says "inbox".

I tried to update Mozilla Thunderbird to 115.5.0. Now I can not receive emails on my computer. The message I received said, Error: Platform version 115.4.0 is not compatible with version 115.5.0. How do I "return" to 115.4.0 so I can have access to emails on my computer? I can receive emails on my cell phone. Thank you.

When I try to add a link by using Ctrl + K, the email draft essentially crashes. If I click on the email that I was writing, it dings/chimes. The email that was in progress is gone. It cannot be changed, does (did) not save as a draft, and cannot be closed.
Other aspects of Thunderbird continue to work, and I can write a new email. However, to get rid of the email that was in progress, I need to shut down the app. Restarting the computer does not get rid of the problem.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Any suggestion for finding and fixing the underlying problem?

Hello. Currently receiving the following error pop-up with Thunderbird 115.4.1 on Win 10 22H2:
"Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox."
This occurs when fetching new email from an sbcglobal.net POP3 account. Settings: inbound.att.net, port: 995, SSL/TLS, OAuth2. These settings have worked successfully for years until yesterday NOV 6 2023.
I have several other POP3 accounts all using the same settings shown above but none of them are triggering the pop-up error.
Can an expert please advise the specific conditions that trigger this error so I can determine where the fault lies? Example: Is this Thunderbird's interpretation of an error condition being transmitted by the email server requiring interaction with service provider? Is this Thunderbird's response to an internal problem like not enough disk space? (even though there is plenty)
A solution would be nice, but an explanation re: the triggering mechanism is absolutely required. Thanks.

I work with my tabs a lot. When I open an attachment, Thunderbird opens a new tab and buts the content of the attachment (pdf) into a new tab. Often I need to save my work and stop working that day, and just let my computer go into sleep mode with Thunderbird still open in windows. In the previous versions, I could just start working the next day, and all my tabs are populated with the attachments and information I left open the day before. With this new update 115.4.2 (32-bit) it does not retain any of the information in any of the tabs that were previously left open. It only happens when the computer has been sleeping overnight or for an extended period of time. If I put the computer to sleep and then wake it up pretty quickly it keeps the tabs just fine. Very frustrating

Runs normally fast on my external monitor, but not on the laptop's internal display where it's really slow. In the beginning seconds of using mail, it runs great. But then after a few seconds the graphics are running slow. Mousing around, switching between emails, etc. - basically any interactions with the UI are really slow, makes it barely usable. But why is it that when I'm connected to an external monitor, things run ok?

I use Thunderbird with my gmail account. When I run Thunderbird on my computer, I don't load any emails (I do get emails on my iPhone). I get this error message: "Authentication failure while connecting to server imap.gmail.com." What does this mean and what should I do?
