I sent an email with multiple BCCs and no CCs or TOs, I put myself as one of the BCCs.

I did not receive it and I do not think anybody else did as well since I asked a few people.

The email is in the sent folder. I tried forwarding the email from my sent folder to myself as CC, and that worked. I also tried fowarding as BCC, and that worked.

So what is going on? Is BCC working? How can I know for certain? Do I need to foward the email as BCCs to all my BCCs to get this to work?

As stated above. One mail account folder in "Inbox" has randomly disappeared in unified folders, but is still available in "All Folders" are when selected. How do I get it back in Unified, so I don't have to use All Folders as well? One side note: If I use Troubleshoot mode it is there like normal, but when closed down and regular Thunderbird is started, it's gone.

Hi. My hard drive crashed. I have a new pc and the old drive is readable in a drive enclosure hooked up to new PC via usb. I have done the typical search for the appdata profile file, but I am not sure what I have here. I have attached a screenshot of the old drive and a global search on "Thunderbird". I am not sure where the profile file is residing. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Each time I open Thunderbird email, a page on firefox opens requesting a donation. This has been going on for weeks. I reached out to Thunderbird, and all suggestions have failed to resolve the problem. Most recently I was instructed to submit the problem here. I hope this is sufficient for requesting assistance. This question was asked before but no one gave a reasonable answer. I use Thunderbird to download emails from two live.com accounts. The old version had a split screen with the list of emails for the account being viewed in the top half and a preview of the actual email being viewed in the bottom half along with action buttons such as delete. This supposedly also kept viruses from being downloaded until the email was actually downloaded. This made deleting a series of emails very easy. The version I downloaded today doesn't have the split screen. I have to actually open each email to delete it. Very time consuming. How can I set up the old format in the new version?

For the past three months I have not received any e mails on my i phone from Thunderbird. I get them on my computer but not on my i phone. My provider is Shaw and I have been in touch with them but they said to contact you. I don't understand why I suddenly quit getting the e mails on my phone. I need to receive them as I need access to e mails on my phone soon, as I am out of town and have no computer where I spend the summer.

I seem to have lost the search bar that allowed me to find certain emails in specific folders. I am now left with the one that searches all my email folders. Why? How do I get it back?

Messages I sent from my iphone are showing up in my inbox marked with a gold star and looking like they came from the recipient, but they werent. Almost like a reminder of an email I sent? - I mistake them for new incoming messages. Why is this happening and how do I make it stop???

as per subject is there a way to reply directly in the preview window like outlook and not in a new window? I tried to search in options but I can't see if there is a way. The pop up new window is a little annoying.

I want to support Mozilla but have no need for the complexity of Thunderbird. I find navigating the huge number of options hugely timewasting, eg I inadvertently remove some headers but can find no way of undoing this. Is there a cut down, simplified version I can use?

With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. Thank you

Some of my emails aren't coming in correctly in Thunder bird. By accident I deleted what I thought was a duplicate email account from my Thunderbird emails. I lost the whole account instead of just cleaning up the extra one the other one was deleted and it is a main email account for me and the inbox had emails I need.

How do I restore this account

Due to a corporate decision to stop offering email service, and after decades of being a faithful customer, COX dumped me into Yahoo. I was happily running Thunderbird, but now I'm unable to do so with yahoo. All online configuration instructions are out of date. Is there an accurate, up-to-date and step-by-step guide to configure Thunderbird to operate with yahoo email?

Within last 2 to 3 weeks I noticed that when I click Get Messages the momentary line of text at bottom-left typically says "there are no new messages", or the "number of messages" about to be downloaded. (This is not the notification window at lower right.) Recently the number of messages actually received is not always correct. For instance, this morning the message was clearly "downloading messages 3 of 3", but only one appeared as a new, unread message in my inbox. This has occurred several times, sometimes qty is correct, sometimes not. My first question is whether this is a bug in Thunderbird, or something I need to pursue with my email provider? Second question: I am only requesting those for my account, but might the "missing messages" be downloaded for my wife's email?

If missing messages are for my wife how do I fix it so I only download mine? She doesn't have admin rights and I made no changes to our account settings. If missing messages are not hers then I am seriously concerned about this issue.

I am using TBird v115.10.1 and I need to be able to EXPORT my contacts to an Excel .CSV file. My version of TBird does not offer any customisation of the Export function.
