I just migrated my email from cox to yahoo servers. The cox.net domain is retained.

I had never seen a "bulk" folder with my other domains and was having problems with emails being sent there.

I deleted the bulk folder and it moved to trash but cannot actually be deleted. I also re created a bulk folder. see pic.

Now emails are still going to the bulk folder that is in trash.

Is there any way to fix this?

I had to reinstall Windows and now I can't reinstall Thunderbird. It says my password is incorrect to my primary email server but it is correct. I use yahoo mail but it is showing the host as att. All of my contact and distribution groups are there.

I saved a draft of a long email.

I now wish to open the draft to proof read it and send it.

With the latest version of Thunderbird I cannot find any way to access and open the save draft.

Any assistance gratefully received.

hello, how can i copy my Linux mint Thunderbird profiles over to windows 10? i get a copy alarm "can not copy symbolic link" when i try to copy the .thunderbird directory to my dos formatted usb drive. i do see that the linux profile directory has both imapmail and ImapMail directories. i believe this is the issue. when i am copying from linux to the dos usb drive, the error window askes to skip/cancel the directory it is troubled by. as both imapmail and ImapMail have the same size and file count, can i just skip one of the directories? is either better on the dos side? thank you for your time. I have just imported my old email from Outlook to TB Local Folders. Everything works out except some of the email (not all) show a wrong date in the email list. The date show a future date like 2/7/2101, 6:28 AM. Please check the attached image. Any idea?

My emails have large a lapse in time before the downloading catches up. For example right now my last email showing says 6:41 PM when it is actually 9:44 PM. This is costing me sales on items I have listed on the marketplace because I have no current notification via emails. Please help.

Process is below: 1. I can successfully navigate to add-ins and choose and add-in to download 2. I can successfully click Add to Thunderbird 3. The screen in the attachment below is shown 4. I cannot get past this screen. If i click Add nothing happens and Thunderbird eventually shuts down.

I am using Debian Linux in a virual env on chromebook currently on version 115.10.1 (64-bit) of thunderbird.

I received a very nice reply to my problem regarding saving passwords. The reply instructed me to reply with certain information. But the reply was marked no-reply@support.mozilla.org. This is very frustrating. Please send coherent instructions. And please read your reply yourself.

Another issue: I tried to make some text boldface, using the "B" menu selection. But instead of boldface, it simple added quote marks around that text. Looks like your website needs work. And the "i" does the same thing.

PC is an Apply Mac Book Pro running latest operating system software: Sonoma 14.4.1 ... after installing 14.4.1, Thunderbird slowed down in all facets: loading mail, opening selected mail, deleting mail, etc. Anyone else experiencing this issue, if so, were you able to resolve it and how? I have installed Thunderbird 115 after following disk drive failure. I use Gmail as my mail provider and now when I try to add a recipient in the 'to' or 'cc' to a new email I want to create I don't get any auto-suggestions from my previous mail history which I used to get before. This makes the product almost useless because I can't remember every possible email address I have received and I don't always add occasional contacts details to my local address book.

Am I missing something like a setting change or something?

An IMAP mail system is configured on a server running Debian 12. While there are never any problems via webmail, reception and sending work occasionally via Thunderbird 115.9. Even in "Troubleshooting Mode" it doesn't work. The server has good hardware characteristics and there are no applications that can slow it down, nor do I think it is a firewall problem or incorrect parameters otherwise it would never work. The error is related to timeout reaching the server. What can I check to find out where the problem is?

Junk, Bin, Deleted confusion in email account There is confusion in Settings regarding Junk,Spam, Bin,or Deleted. When setting up Spam checks it refers to Junk folder where I have customarily used Spam folder and or Deleted/ Bin folder options which am now not able to set in the options available. I upgraded to 115.9.0 to get OAuth for some, but not all, accounts. Those on Gmail & Yahoo are OAuth. I have non-OAuth accounts on a Zimbra server, and on Panix.com.

It prompts for the first account's password. TBird then gobbles all available CPU on the machine, and stays there. If I wait long enough, it becomes usable again, but that may well be hours.

However, once it calms down, it works normally.

Intertwined with this is: TBird rejects the Zimbra passwords as I enter them. I retry and retry, and then they succeed. I know the passwords are correct; I've even typed them out, and then copy&pasted them in. I'm not sure about the Panix account, if its password works the first time or not.

I tried restarting in troubleshooting mode; it made no difference.

top - left "get messages". either the button or on the account right click and get messages.

its been one or 2 days now that i press either and also on TWO DIFFERENT PC running win 10 and 115.9.0 version and nothing happens! doesnt get any messages. dont even get the Checking notification on the bottom left. auto message retrieve doesnt work either no matter the time period. its like i am clicking on empty space... a while after, just by itself, it starts downloading again.

Thunderbird auto updated to 115.10.1 and now it is behaving strangely.

1. The Message Filter has "Junk" at the bottom of the list of filters and anything that is not sent to a folder gets sent to the Junk folder. Instead all the junk is going to the Inbox.

2. Folders that have new email show up in blue highlighted folder as they should. But if I select those emails and read them, they remain highlighted but without the blue color.

3. Sometimes when I delete an email after reading, it deletes for a moment and then returns to the folder as unread. Multiple attempts to delete fail.
