Hi. It seems that Supernova has broken a feature for me. Every day I use a sequence to search for a specific email: cmd+k and I type what I am looking for, then I click on an email from a list(screenshot 1) and I expect thunderbird to open the specific email I clicked on, but now it just shows an email thread(screenshot 2). How can I make it work as before?
Is it possible to export/search the filter log??

I tried the recommendations of "david" a Top 10 Contributor, in his post 3/3/2022 04:08, but none of the three choices which I accessed via Tools > Settings > Reading & Display got rid of the extra tabs. Anyone else have a fix for this? It just started a couple of weeks ago. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can render! David

I had been using thunderbird with ATT and I got hacked. I fixed it with a new password and it would not receive and email. I was using firefox. This happened 5 or so weeks ago. I do not want to lose a lot of folder with old emails and the address book. Then I remembered today I used to have to use IE instead of firefox with ATT security. I got a reset from ATT and it would not work in firefox so I used Chrome and I could reset the password finally. Now I have to reset the Oauth password for Thunderbird (thb). I cannot find my directions. That is the easy part. With Zoho I do not know how to put in the password in thb for the ATT and my Zoho acct. Plus I want to add a 3rd and 4th accnts.
Then I see you are having a lot of the passwords are not working and people cannot log into thb. Something to the affect the around version 60 or thb the was passwords were done was changed and if you did not run that version then you would not have the change that it is not in other new versions. So I got a mess with tbd and passwords and how to do things. I do not see how you can do this in written form like this. Help, please help. My phone is a land line and it is [removed phone# from public support forum]. I do not have call waiting and if the phone is busy you have to try again. Sorry about that.

When I search for emails with CTRL+K, it used to come up with a list that I could click on and it would open that specific email even if it was part of a threat. Now it sends me to a whole list of emails and I have to search through all of them in order to open the one I want. This is all after the latest update. How can I get it to open immediately in that first search?

I receive emails from four different accounts in Thunderbird (two from Comcast, and two from Outlook). Most of them are working fine, but one of the Outlook accounts has not been working correctly for the last few days, apparently since the last update, 115.4.3. Emails to this one account have been delayed by several hours, sometimes by as much as twelve. I have not changed any settings at all. The emails are not in the account online, so they seem to be floating around in cyberspace somewhere before they finally come through in Thunderbird. How can I fix this?

Hello support, When starting Thunderbird (v 115.4.1) it crashes after a few seconds even in safe mode with error message "Failed to open curl lib from binary, use libcurl.so instead". DB crash reports have been submitted (see e.g. bp-28dbde9c-184d-4f7b-ae3a-f115b0231121). I reinstalled Thunderbird as well as curl (located in /usr/bin) but the problem remains ! Please advice ! I have removed that address from Thunderbird & tried to add it again but the configuration fails.
I can send from the issue address using my ISP's web mail. I know the username & password are correct. It also works fine on my phone.
The problem seems to be Thunderbird.

I am using Thunderbird as my one and only e-mail programme on my laptop to avoid collection of personal data. However, all the time I get pop-ups from Microsoft (see uploaded image), tempting me to allow Microsoft to collect these very data that I want to avoid. I have to either click on cancel (annuleren) or allow (accepteren). I always click on cancel (annuleren) or on the X in the upper righthand corner. But during the move in Thunderbird, the same Microsoft message pops-up. How can I get rid of these annoying pop-ups?

Please provide guidance on how to fix this, or I will have to abandon Thunderbird (which I have used loyally for many years) or work via the Gmail platform (ugh).

I have lost many of the emails stored in local folders. I know they were there about 6 months ago, but now they are not. Although I will probably never want to read most of them, there are some which I need. I will be ditching Thunderbird if I can't get a solution - I am as certain as I can be, that I have not done anything to cause this, and am appalled that it could happen. It seems that emails from the last 2 or 3 years are there (although I am not convinced there is a consistent date. What on earth has happened??

I live out in the country now. I have the only internet provider who comes out here - Frontier.com. They do not give an email address to new customers. So I do NOT have an email ending with @frontier.com to set up the connection to my new internet provider via Thunderbird. I've tried every possible configuration to try to get Thunderbird to connect without an actual @frontier.com email address. Frontier wanted me to use an already present att email with them. But obviously Thunderbird knows I don't have an att account!! So how the heck do I get Thunderbird to connect to my internet without an @frontier.com email!!!!???? I have manually configured the settings over and over with different emails trying to get it to connect without any luck. I have spent days on this. I have talked to Frontier many times and been hung up on when I get to the obvious question of how can I connect to the internet in my email program without an @frontier.com email. I am afraid that I will have to try some other program to be able to get my emails..... but I don't want to!!
