I have recently upgraded from Thunderbird 128 to 136.0 on my MacBook Pro. Reminders for events are not working. Any suggestions?

When I delete an email the attached message pops up that it "can't compact etc..." and when I hit ok it compacts the folders anyway. Sometimes it also hangs the program up and I have to close and re-open, but mostly it is just annoying. It also happens in troubleshooting mode. I am up to date with version 128.8.0esr (64-bit) in Windows 11. I got up, walked around my desk and sat back down but it didn't help; any other suggestions?

I can no longer move emails to the folder of my choice. If I drag and drop an email into a folder it never goes there, sometimes it does nothing, sometimes the email disappears like it moved but it never ends up in the folder I drop it into, I search all the folders I have created and the email I moved is GONE! I look in the "Trash" bins I can find and the email is GONE!
Version 128.8.0esr (64-bit) I tried too update the version that is an exercise in confusion.
Side note, the only way to copy and paste the version number is using the keyboard, if you highlight the text in ABOUT, right click it does nothing! No popup window giving you the option to copy. First time in 30 years I have seen this problem.

I am upgrading a desktop PC and have the opportunity to customize its components specifically aiming at improving and increasing Thunderbird's performance.
In addition to any software tweaking, what resources or combination of resources would contribute the most to increasing Thunderbird's performance ? Can I use RAM to cache some or all storage activity ?
The current profile and mailbox (IMAP) are >60GB.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello! I have used Thunderbird for many years. Lately, it waits much too long to prompt compacting all accounts. When "Compact all folders when it will save over ..." is set down to 1MB total, it still does not prompt until it has to clear 30 or 40 MB.
It didn't do this in the past, prompting me every 2 or 3 days at higher settings. So, I'm curious if this is "normal" now and I need to manually compact, or if there is a problem with 'Account Settings > Disk Space > Compact all folders' ... ?

As well as trying "normal password" instead of OAuth2. The OAuth2 option does not seem to generate a pop-up to authorize that way. Using other 3rd party and logging in via browser also work.
Does thunderbird need to update something to fix the issue? Its been only a few weeks now for me that this was an issue.

For example, the Subject Line may be humorous. "You take yourself too seriously". Insert a LOL emoji

Hello! I am developing an application for an organization that uses Thunderbird in a Windows environment. Among other features, it is necessary to implement the transfer of mail client settings from one workstation to another. Built-in Mozilla Thunderbird tools are not suitable. I am still considering implementation options (autoconfig or direct work with files), and I have several questions. I will be very grateful for any help. 1. What is the minimum required files in the appdata folder that I need to create (transfer) so that the profile works without errors on the new workstation? I am automatically filtering messages using the message filter feature.
I cannot open emails that have been sorted into a specific folder. The email list is displayed in the tree on the left, but when I click on the relevant email, the message pane on the right remains completely blank. Although the email has been received, I cannot read its contents at all.
Even if I double-click the email in the list to open it in a new tab, the contents are still not visible.
Emails sorted into other folders display without any issues. I tried right-clicking the affected folder → Properties → Repair Folder, but the issue remains.
Is there a way to fix this?
