Since installing 91.2.0 (32-bit) update --

Attachments to outgoing emails are now at the bottom of the page. When I click on an attachment to open it (when writing the email) to check to make sure it is correct, a new blank email opens with that attachment attached, but the attachment itself does not open.

This is not helpful. I always check to make sure I have actually attached the correct item, but now I cannot do that.

I highlight and print multiple emails at the same time. I can only now print 1 email at a time. Can this be fixed? In my line of work, I need all the emails I get in, to print by highlighting them all, not one at a time. This would take forever. We changed from Outlook for this exact reason. You could only print one email at a time. I also would rather not convert them to pdfs, if I am seeing that as the fix to this problem. Sue

In the bottom right of the screen in the place of e-mail notifications, appears a white bar that doesn't disappear. Only closing the thunderbird via taskmanager gets rid of it, because closing it normally still leaves some process running. Subsequent launches of thunderbird don't have this issue, but it reappears after reboot. Seems like the notification function is getting stuck Thus far I've tried disabling hardware acceleration and running the profile in safe mode and coming back.

Can no longer send, reply to or forward any emails after update to 91.2.0 from TB 78. It affects all my email SMTP servers. It happens regardless of firewall setting, VPN or Safe Mode. I have tried the abook mab vs. sqlite route, but that does not work either. My abook remains empty. Manual entry of email addresses make no difference. When pressing SEND nothing happens.

I'm having a super annoying issue. The scroll bars keep disappearing in each window section. I have to click and resize the window are of the part I am trying to scroll for them to show. I use a Wacom, and have tried a bunch of settings.

I am using the 90.0b2 (64-bit) beta version.

Hello, I user thunderbird for several email accounts and while it mostly works i do run into some oddities.

In the Tools-Message Filters menu i have many things sorted there.

I have noticed 2 issues: 1) Filters that have been in place for months will randomly stop working, i can rerun the filter manually and nuttin, and a week alter it starts sorting again. I verify the email address and check and it's correct and matches the rule.

2) Yesterday i made a new rule to a new subfolder. It was regarding some class work I had done, and I wanted all things from the email address there to be moved to that folder. I copied the email address into the filter and it does nothing.

For most of my rules I have checked "Manually Run", "Getting new email: Filter before junk classification", and "Periodically, every 10 minutes" but only some dont work.

Im not even sure how i start troubleshooting this, any advice?

You added the bulk email folder about a year or so ago. Since then I get 250 to 300 emails a day added to this folder. At first they seemed to be a mix of junk mail and deleted messages. But I recently noticed that legitimate email addresses are being dumped here. I was told to highlight these message and click on "not junk" that will solve the problem. It does not. How do I get these emails routed back to my inbox so I can delete the bulk folder?

Let's start all over. Thunderbird automatically updated and I have lost all entries in my calendar. I have had help with solving my problem which have not worked. How do I launch the Thunderbird about.config? I have been told to go to TOOLS and select OPTIONS. There is no OPTIONS to select under the under the TOOLS menu. I have 3 calendars and all are shown as ENABLED. What did the update change and how do I get my entries back?

Before this latest update i could go to the list of messages in my inbox, rigth click on a message and selecte print preview, i was using this feature to avoid opening emails that i was not sure if it was spam or something that i would be interested on. The option is no longer available with Thunderbird 91.1.1 (64-bit), what happen, why this feature was removed? Programming team running amok again? or QA team sleeping at the wheel? Have removed and reinstalled accounts to no avail. Can receive email but very slow in opening emails. Note no config editor in tools menu in version 91.

New update (91) has attachments for outgoing messages on the bottom of the window. This is OK for Inbox, but for outgoing it's too easy to miss.

I have a strong preference for the Top Right placement like it was before. For anyone with QHD+ (and even 1080p) resolution, that portion of the UI is empty in 98% of cases. It may look slightly prettier, but I'm not sure what type of *functional* advantage you're gaining by moving attachments to the bottom like you did in this latest update (91). Function is all I, and likely most of your users, care about.

If your UX designers are stuck on this move, can we at least get an option in setting to move it back to Top Right in a future update?

Suddenly could not send emails from PC since 6 October. I can receive emails. Websites that check whether other sites are down say that mail.optusnet.com.au is DOWN, whether I use Firefox or Chrome. Same result if I use my mobile phone when I am at home using home internet but another different browser.Optus has had me change my password 5 times in last 4 days - no different. I have turned off Public and Private Windows Firewall and still not been able to send emails. I can send emails from my Optus Webmail. I have latest Windows10, Thunderbird 91.2.0 (64 bit) 'currently on the release update channel'. Optus not helping. Its a business email as main account so desperately need fix. I had not made any changes to my system prior to the problem.
