I have had Thunderbird forever. I have 2 point security & I have lost control of my Thunderbird as far as installing it on another computer. It works just fine on my Desktop which will have to be updated to Windows 11 soon. I have tried installing it on a few laptops to no avail. I followed David (of the little dog!) advice. He gave me instructions on how to save my Profile, which I did. It was big, took a while but it informed me there are some items that were not able to be copied, so I don't know it that will work when I do make my move. I had another thought. If I go into settings and passwords and delete the second security measure until I make the move, leaving me with a simple password, will that hopefully allow me to install Thunderbird on my laptop?

Just loaded this program and it is great, easy to use and set up. After saying that, I cannot work out how to put the display into columns with the inbox on the left, email next to that and then the email body on the right. I hope that this is clear enough. Dear Support Team,
I am writing to report an issue with the folder names in your program.
Although I have selected Polish as the primary language setting within the application, the names of system folders (such as Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts, etc.) are all displayed in English.
Crucially, on my original mailbox (accessible via webmail or other clients), these folder names are correctly displayed in Polish.
I have attempted to change these folder names manually within your application, but the changes do not persist, and the names revert back to English. There seems to be no other option within the app to correctly synchronize or change the display language for these folders to Polish.
Could you please investigate this issue and provide a solution to ensure the folder names are displayed in Polish, consistent with my language setting and original mailbox configuration?

Yesterday I was able, with someone's help, to turn off the feature in Thunderbird that is a pop-up on lower left of screen that a new email has come in. But now I want to also get rid of the sound. Didn't have this problem with my old computer and Windows 10. Or is this something I can only not have when speakers are turned off?
