After years of using Thunderbird (PC) as a POP email client without issues, one day my client discovered the body text of his emails wouldn't display: not in the preview pane, nor when the email was opened into a separate tab. I tried the recommendations I found online (repair the folders, rebuild them by deleting the associated .msf files, relaunch in Troubleshoot Mode) but none fixed the problem. I decided to create a new Thunderbird profile to see if the problem persisted—but the password I had for the account didn't work, so I wasn't able to finish the test. I reassigned the original profile as the default, exited Thunderbird and relaunched it. But when it came back up in the original profile, none of my client's custom folders, containing years worth of carefully organized emails, appeared. Only the Inbox, Trash, etc., with the same problem of not displaying the body text.

So my first objective is to get my client's custom folders to display as they had before I created the second profile; my next objective is to try to get the body text to display in his messages. Any suggestions welcome! The profile folder is located on a file server, and is fully accessible by the PC, with full permissions. Thanks!

About every five minutes, this message pops up obliterating anything I'm doing on my computer, whether in email or on the internet and I have to go to the task bar and highlight Thunderbird until that message appears on the task bar, then I can delete. Many times, it immediately comes right back on the screen and I have to do it a second time.

These are most annoying and come up at the most inopportune times when I'm trying to work on something on my computer and it obliterates the entire screen.

Hello!

I use Thunderbird to access the old ALT newsgroups for Star Trek content. All of a sudden, messages appear in the top window, but when I select one the content will not appear in the reading pane. Likewise, if I double-click on the message same thing, another window pops up but it is blank.

So far I have uninstalled and reinstalled TB twice. Ran a full Norton system scan

Hello! I am using thunderbird to collect my tasks directly from emails, and it is a great product. When I update it to a new version (v138.0.2), unfortunately, I can not open the links (like mid:*****) created in the tasks. This problem did not occur previously.

Thunderbird has started opening a "Reply to sender with a copy to myself" e-mail when I double click to open an e-mail. If I actually send a reply, the original e-mail disappears from my Inbox. How do I stop this? Thanks.

I accidentally deleted the emails in the all mail folder and now everything is gone from in box and sent. I have unsubscribed from the all mail tab. I have also tried the suggestions given in the help section. Nothing is helping. Can you please help? Thanks, Sue sthist.st@gmail.com

How do I transfer my address book contents (which are quite big) to my Thunderbird account on a new computer? I followed the copy and paste of the profile, but this did not seem to work. Is there something specific that I can do as this is really vital for my work?

I am experiencing an issue with my email account When trying to save a message to the mailbox, I receive the following error:

"Saving the message to the mailbox failed. Check if you have the required write permissions on the system and if there is sufficient free space available to copy the mailbox."

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue step by step?

Souhaitant déplacer les messages du dossier "B" vers le dossier "A", j'ai surligné tous les mails du dossier "B" et j'ai déplacé l'ensemble des message en les faisant glisser vers le dossier "A" qui n'avait aucun message à sa racine. Le résultat est que le dossier "A" qui n'avait aucun message à sa racine bien qu'ayant à présent en information 6 messages non lus et 11 message au total, n'en contient aucun. Par contre ces messages sont toujours dans leur dossier d'origine "B". Question n° 1 : Faire glisser des message d'un dossier vers un autre n'est il pas possible ? When I received an email with an invitation for a meeting, I used to be shown an 'accept' button to indicate acceptance of the meeting invitation. This 'accept' button no longer appears. Is there I setting I must set for the accept button to appear?

This is Sheila Herman and my email address is: swherman@twc.com. Now, there are two sections (top and bottom) to my email and the top section is gibberish. I need a Thunderbird email address so that I can send a copy of that gibberish page. I did reply to Matt's email with an attachment before I realized that his email address does not accept reply. When the recipient opens my email that page will show up and I want to remove the top section. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards. I recently stopped receiving my Optusnet emails via Thunderbird, although I can still receive them via Optus webmail. As previous users have found out, changes were made to Optus's platform which didn't support Thunderbird, all without notifying customers. However, after lengthy discussions with Optus, they have assured me that they now support Thunderbird and after checking all the settings I should be able to receive emails via Thunderbird. However this is not the case and I am still relying on webmail. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. aandr1

What does this mean, Unable to open the summary file for Sent . Perhaps there was an error on disk, or the full path is too long. This just appeared. How do I get my sent emails back
