On Bazzite, currently I'm running Thunderbird version 140.8.1esr.

I only have one account set up in Thunderbird, which is my iCloud email account. I followed the steps in this guide to set up my iCloud email account in Thunderbird, and it went very smooth.

No matter what I do, no matter how many times I mark all folders as read, the icon in my dock ALWAYS displays a new mail notification.

I've removed and re-added my account twice, and have uninstalled and re-installed Thunderbird from the Bazaar store. iCloud on the web also does not show that I have any new messages.

My company uses your email software and everyones email is not working. For example, my email (madison.l@valleyhha.com) does not allow me to send messages without an error popping up (Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent-madison.l@valleyhha.com.)

This goes for my entire staff of 20 people. Same error, also all my unread messaged in my inbox have now disappeared. Not only that but we are also not receiving any new emails either

seem to have a problem with OAuth2 and my aol accounts in thunderbird. can't send or receive emails to/from my aol account on thunderbird. this seems to have something to do with change to OAuth2.

For some time now my primary email address gets wiped clean every night and is empty every morning. I have to transfer received mail to another input address to keep it safe!

I send out golf group e-mails. I have myself (e-mail address) in the group, so it will also come back to me. The server keeps rejecting my group e-mails because it says my e-mail address is incorrect, I have checked it several times and it is correct. I even edited it to be sure. Why is the server still rejecting it?

I can receive mail fine. Cannot send mail on gmx.co.uk acct, but gmx.net works on oauth2. But oauth2 is missing on gmx.co.uk It's just not on the pulldown. I tried a new thunderbird acct for gmx.co.uk but oauth2 is still missing.

Hello, so I have Thunderbird installed on 2 Windows 11 PC's both are updated and operating with all updates! On my 1st (main) PC which I use 98% of the time Thunderbird has been running perfectly with IMAP and Oath2.

Last night on the 2nd PC I rarely use I opened Thunderbird and it started to download messages for awhile and all my 2026 up until OCT 2025 disappeared?

I logged into Yahoo Mail from a browser and yup all gone?

I sent a deleted by accident request to YAHOO and today all my mail had returned when I checked on my 1st (main) PC.

I started the 2nd PC and all was good, till it started downloaded messages again? And POOF right back to square one?

What's happening? Should I confirm that IMAP and OATH2 are enabled on that PC before I do something else? I've sent another DELETED request to Yahoo and at this point I'm thinking to just REMOVE Thunderbird all together on the 2nd PC.

For some reason, Thunderbird is prematurely word wrapping (or inserting line breaks) on emails that are sent.

I'm using default 'HTML Style' Defaults, but have also messed around with those to see if I can fix the issue - to no avail.

I found an old 'question' on the support site where this seemed to have been resolved (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1307490). Unfortunately, the Solution doesn't appear to apply to modern Thunderbird versions (e.g., version 148); I can't find the suggested setting to change.

Mam problem, pierwsze parę kont dodanych do Thunderbird działa poprawnie i nie ma z nimi problemu. Natomiast pojawił się problem z kolejymi pocztami -nie widzę na nich połowy folderów, albo w sumie żadnych, ani wiadomości wysłanych, ani roboczych. Znowu na innej poczcie w odebranych, nie widzę nadawców - tylko własnego maila. Próbowałam na nowo zainstalować te poczty, jednak nie przynosi to zamierzonych efektów, albo wręcz jest jeszcze gorzej.

I can't get messages from my Thunderbird account. When I click "Get messages" nothing happens and it usually says "Done" on the bottom left corner. I have to use my domain's webmail account to get my e-mail and it only allows me to read it and delete junk.

I really would love to have my Thunderbird account working again as soon as possible.

I subscribe to a number of RSS feeds in TB. This works well nearly all of the time but sometimes I find that TB has paused updates. I never want it to do this.

Why does it happen and is there a way to stop it doing it?

As of today, I am unable to link to, or log onto, my email server - gmx.com..... Have never had a problem until today.

Today, when I opened up Thunderbird, ALL my email accounts came back with an error message stating that the login to the server failed (see attachment). I don't know what happened.

I checked all of my settings, and they are all correct (according to GMX), I tried to re-enter my passwords, and even re-booted my computer in the off chance that there may have been a booting issue. Nothing helped.

Can someone tell me what's going on? Why is Thunderbird all of a sudden not linking with the email servers? How do we fix this when all of the protocols are correct - and have been all along? Any thoughts, suggestions, or advice?

bold text I have tried restoring my system to a previous date. I did receive those Emails. Today, I've not received my Email messages. I have tried you help resources and have been able to get Thunderbird to run as before. I would appreciate any assistance that you could give a seventy-six year old user.
