Bonjour

En inscrivant dans la barre de recherche " mozilla forum " j'ai toujours obtenu la page avec deux fenêtres pour y inscrire le pseudo et le mot de passe. J'ai passé tout l'après-midi, en vain,  pour retrouver cette page. Pourriez-vous m'indiquer le chemin pour retrouver cette page. En tâtonnant  j'ai obtenu une page dans laquelle j'ai inscrit mon adresse mail et autre difficulté mon mot de passe n'a pas été reconnu. Aurais-dû utiliser le mot de passe du forum ou le mot de passe de mon adresse r.......l@orfange.fr

I am trying to respond to the person who answered my question regarding Thunderbird. There is, however, no "Reply" button or sentence or anything that tells me how to respond to their suggestions.

The service just keeps going round and round - not letting me ask another question in that regard or answer the answer already given. HELP!

Hi all

First time user here, so forgive me if I do or ask something stupid!

I'm the old fashioned kind of user, so I like to have some kind of manual to read through at my leisure, thus saving me from asking daft questions on forums like this.

I have found something at Floss, but it seems to be in a large number of sections which I guess I could doenload individually but it seems a considerable effort.

Can anyone suggest where I could download such a manual? I'm not bothered too much if it relates to an older version of Thunderbird, I just want to have a handy reference to the program in general.

Thunderbird is so difficult to use. Please improve. I don't know how many users only continue with Thunderbird because they agree with your philosophy. Maybe a lot. I am always fight to make it work. You have to a geek to made perform in an easy way.

In my work, I get PDF documents all the time from a trusted source, and in every case, I have to find an editor to make edits required.

The last time I searched, I could find only one free editor available, and that has disappeared from online access.

Thunderbird could benefit us enormously by providing an integrated PDF editor.

How do I take a screen shot of a received email message? I have a Win 11 PC, updated to most-recent. I tried [shift] [Windows] [S], and selected the portion I want (the entirety), but there seems to be no way to save this so I can send this as an attached file. (I am unable to send it as a forwarded email.)

I would like to donate .. i really would .. but .. I use PAYPAL for donations, and when I try to donate, the first thing you do is ask questions I'm not going to answer. I have an account already .. seriously that should be enough to give you money. OR if i go to paypal, have a donation link there.

I understand that (at the time of writing this) "Thunderbird Release" is not ready for production yet.

But I'm confused why the Beta version doesn't have a notice then.

(I know what Beta means, but the average person doesn't)

When logging in to check my mail I get a popup from premacy.websitwelcome.com Wanting password and username. have not clicked it and program works fine after hitting the X. Seems suspicious and I can not get rid of the popup with virus programs.

I tried to download Thunderbird but it seems that I need to have another email client to install Thunderbird. It asks for verification but I need another email client to verify who I am . And even if I want Mozilla answer they are a secret also. I am tired of dealing with Microsoft but it seems Mozilla/thunderbird have similar problems. The problem of verification are awful at Microsoft and it also seems to be a problem with you also. So where do I get my questions asked?

I entered a question about Thunderbird an hour or two ago (Jan 20, 2026). I started to look for a response, but I cannot find my question on the forum.

I entering this post for two reasons:

  1) I want to see if it gets posted and is visible to me
  2) I hope someone can help me find my post that I entered earlier.

The recent "year in review" included this attached bit. Does that mean that the Mozilla foundation is deciding to not allocate any of their overall revenue to Thunderbird and rely solely on user donations for it? If so, why does it own/manage Thunderbird? To me the entire purpose of an entity like Mozilla managing a project like Thunderbird is like most companies, to be able to allocate extra revenue from more lucrative projects to ones that are less so. Seems that the userbase of a project you own doesn't matter, money^s somehow better allocated to stuff that nobody asked for?

Hello All, This is not a complaint or the need for a fix. I like Thunderbird the most amongst all 3-rd party options … after the discontinuation of the excellent Windows Mail & Calendar app and the forced change to the dreadful New Outlook.

However, I would like to post a concern or suggestion: Since installing I experienced, as many first-time users, various more or less urgent adjustments or settings-changes, but was able to fix or set all to my liking.

Here is my experience, though, when finding help-articles, in general or in TB forum: Most of them seem to be outdated … meaning procedures and path’s leading to certain settings do not work or have obviously changed with updates. E.g., there is no Options in Tools or Composition in Options. Suggestions for getting to where you uncheck “Use Paragraph instead of Body …” do not work that way anymore. Instead, it is now found under Settings, easily accessible from the Settings icon, bottom left. This is only one example of many where certain folders or links do not exist anymore or have been relocated.

Would it possible to eliminate / take off-line outdated advice, which surely created headaches and wasted time for many. I was able to do all settings and customizations in the end but spent quite some time finding the current path to the right place. So many descriptions are outdated / obviously from older versions and should be deleted or amended.
