I have a website it write about pet but its not loading saying privacy error when i go advance option still did not work.

I often forget to use bcc when sending emails to my distribution list. Then the list of addresses shows on the recipients email. I don't want the list to show. How can I avoid this mistake automatically as I age? Scotty84

Hallo, durch eine Unachtsamkeit habe ich das Hauptpasswort (Primäres Passwort.) von Thunderbird gelöscht. Ich finde auf den Hilfeseiten keinen Hinweis wie man da Passwort zurücksetzten kann. Dadurch komme ich nicht mehr an meine Mails. Freundliche Grüße

When I get an email it say it's from "Barclays Bank", or some other, but there is no way of seeing the Actual email sender without opening the email. How do I see the senders email address Before I open it?

I have had a client for whom I use an outlook.office365.com "thing" and get/send e-mails through their domain.

In prior Tbird releases it just accepted whatever credentials Tbird presents

Recent release - I still authenticate just fine - can receive and transmit e-mails without issue. But every couple of minutes I get a nag screen asking me to login to login.live.com. I dismiss the nag screen, and can still transmit and receive e-mails. This screen is initiated by a Thunderbird process (I know this because if I kill a Thunderbird process in task manager, the screen goes away and everything works as expected. )

I really want no part of the Windows "Live" thing, and have no idea of what "helpful" changes it wants to make, and so I do not login.

"Settings" are set up with cookies set to yes. OAuth2 seems to be selected.

I see no settings that I could use to suppress the nag ... is there anything I can do???

Issue began Monday 7/1 where Thunderbird would not receive new email from AOL. At times it would tell me to enter the password. But the p/w I entered was not correct so that made situation worse. Found "Saved Passwords" in Help->Settings where I was able to retrieve the -correct- p/w for one of the email addresses being actively used in Thunderbird and problem solved. When I went to find the correct p/w for the other email address, the account in "Saved Logins" was not there?? Was odd that the list did display email accounts I haven't used in years, but not the 2nd one that I use daily! I tried changing the p/w at AOL Mail, but that didn't work for either of my two accounts. Bottom line, why isn't lf82me@verizon.net showing up in the "Saved Passwords" in Settings?

I changed my Gmail password and Thunderbird asks me to enter the new one, however, it displays my email address with a lit 'Next' button but the button doesn't take me to the next screen to allow me to enter the password, it just flashes, no matter how many time I click it.

I'm trying to send an OpenPGP-encrypted email from a Linux Mint machine using msmtp, relaying through the smtp server, to another Linux machine, to myself, running Thunderbird (with the sender's (my) imported private key already loaded and working in Thunderbird).

The encrypted test message is composed manually as a file (email.eml) and sent using msmtp from the command line. The email successfully passes through the SMTP relay, is received and decrypted by Thunderbird (so the OpenPGP decryption part works that much I know ... ), but the plain text content is not rendered properly and the email is displayed blank, no plain text as expected. Thunderbird has decrypted the message, but it’s not being displayed or rendered.

This makes me think the issue lies in the structure or MIME headers/parts of the .eml file itself — specifically how the encrypted message body is wrapped. This is not something I'm entirely familiar with, and even less so with what Thunderbird expects for a PGP encrypted message...

I suspect the issue is due to incorrect MIME formatting or missing headers (Content-Type, Content-Transfer-Encoding, Charset, or boundaries etc.) needed for Thunderbird to correctly render the decrypted body into plain text once it receives it. Since I’m assembling the .eml manually (and eventually by a script whej I get to it), I may be overlooking certain structural requirements that typical mail clients (say Thunderbird or similar) or gpg front-ends (like mutt, mailx ...) would handle automatically.

My questions are: Is there a correct MIME structure or format expected by Thunderbird for OpenPGP-encrypted emails ? Is this documented anywhere specifically for Thunderbird ? Or, are there publicly available examples or specs that describe how such an email should be structured (e.g., RFCs or working .eml templates)?

Is there a known way to validate or "lint" .eml files for OpenPGP compatibility ? That would be nice ;-)

As I said the internals or MIME formatting is not my thing usually. Any pointers to Th.B. documentation, sample files, or tools that help with .eml structure validation would be grately appreciated.

settings for smtp server for cox.net account using Thunderbird server name smtp.cox.net port 465 but I have also tried 587 connection security STARTTLS no authentication method user name [removed]

When I send a message to anyone using the blind copy option, both the name and email address appears on the recipients copy of the email. This first started in December ( I send Quarterly mailings to several groups.) I have used this program for last couple of years and never had this problem before. What has happened and how can I correct it.

It looks like they are being sent as a blind copy, but they arrive with the email address showing.

I would like to change my account settings for my hotmail account, but when I try to change from Normal Password under Outgoing Server (SMTP) there is no option for Oauth. Is there something I can do to enable this option.

I have not been receiving replies to adds I have on Gumtree, to my primary email address, denisj51@msn.com. Gumtree has advised me that my email client, which is Thunderbird, is identifying them as Spam, and is deleting them! I check the junk folder of that account regularly, and they are not sent to that folder. I would like to stop them being deleted. How do I do that ? Thanks for your help. Denis.

Hi guys,

I'm communicating with some colleagues using S/MIME encrypted messages. I have already imported all the necessary licenses, and all licenses are valid until 2034. I can receive and read all the encrypted messages they sent me, but every time I try to reply or send them (the same people) encrypted messages, the error pops up saying 'End-to-end encryption requires resolving certificate issues'. I already checked all the licenses but couldn't find any issues. Can you suggest some ways to resolve it? Thank you!
