cannot send email. Can receive email fine. l cannot respond, forward, or send new email. I checked settings, and they seem to be correct. It suddenly started this a few days ago. When sending, icon indicates sending, but get this box:

"Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <END-OF-MESSAGE>: End-of-data rejected: user smtprelay service AUP suspended. Please check the message and try again."

Now what?

I have three email accounts configured in Thunderbird. I updated to whatever the very last release is before v115, and when I was reading the Release Notes it said no more patches would be made for that version, and recommended upgrading to v115.2.0. I upgraded and now two of my three Junk folders are missing. After checking my settings (both accounts in question are set to "Move new junk messages to: Junk folder on <INSERT_ACCOUNT_NAME>" and doing a bunch of Googling I have no explanation as to why they've disappeared. As a test, I marked a message as Junk on one of the impacted accounts and the message disappeared from my Inbox and was nowhere to be found (I then had to press CTRL-Z to get it to reappear in my Inbox).

How do I restore the two missing Junk folders please?

When I update to 15.2.2 48 of my local folders disappear. Is this a bug? or is there some new filter which excludes certain folders?

I have reverted to a backup and re-updated to confirm the problem consistently.

This is preventing me from updating to supernova. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Team, I have a problem with badge on the second Subfolder. The structure is (all collapsed): main Folder (ex. A), SubFolder (ex. A1), second SubFolder (ex. A2). When I receive an email, it move to A2 using Filter function. To the right of the "A" appears the badge (1) and text "A" is Bold and Blue color but "A1" doesen't appear the badge (1) and text "A1" is Normal and Black color. If I expande the "A1" I see "A2" and to the right of the "A2" appears the badge (1) and text "A2" is Bold and Blue color.

Like many others, I'm seriously considering going back to v112 because I find SO many of the changes in 115 "change for the sake of change," "fixing" things that weren't broken, and breaking functionality that we thought was stable. Not keeping thins like the default font that was selected in the previous version before the upgrade is just plain annoying.

I use Thunderbird to manage many email accounts across different profiles. Not all accounts show up in unified folders, although all accounts are visible in the "All folders" view. Is there any way to "reset" anything to fix this? The Unified folders "Inbox" view in 112 was the best way to see all accounts that had new messages.

Hi folks. I have 4 email accounts. 3 are business accounts. The ones that are business accounts have emails that are probably years old. I've discovered that my mobile data is being used up by my email.

So my question is: When I download new emails, is it just the new email that is downloaded, or is it an updated file with the new email added to it?

As said, with the amount of emails that are stored would mean a full email file download would be extremely large.

Hello Community - Starting 9/16/23, emails received and sent are accumulating in my Inbox. Previously, I would drag and drop an email into its respective folder in the left panel. It would leave the Inbox. Now, after I move the email to its folder, it REMAINS in the Inbox. And if I delete the email in the Inbox, that email is also deleted in its folder. Any emails I wish to save are now accumulating in my Inbox. Any thoughts on what has changed in the handling of my emails? Thank you.

Good Morning

I have been using thunderbird "for ever", just recently I open thunderbird only to find my email accounts have gone missing and I have to re-enter them all. All fine for a couple of days then same thing happens. This issue has occured for the past couple of weeks and even goung to the latest update "supernova 115.2.2 (64-bit) presents the same problem. Today same thing again all accounts gone asking me to setup email accounts?????

PLEASE COULD YOU HELP?

I have been using Thunderbird for years. I loved it and there was never a problem. Until I updated to the latest version. My Operating system is Windows 10. The problem: It was impossible to set the size of the letters in a satisfying way. Only massive letters in writing emails resulted in a readable format on the receiving end. I tried one of the suggestions I found on the internet. Something like "set the same format initially and then again in Latin and the bottom choice of letter types". It did not work for me. So I decided to quit Thunderbird and start working with Gmail. Which is okay, but you have to be online and you have to change websites if you use more than one email address. I don't expect you to have a solution, but I want to inform you that I decided to quit after a years long good experience. Thank you for all your work and effort, Daniel van Schooneveld

I noticed with the upgrade to Version 115 from 102 that the handling of certain RSS Feeds changed.

I turned on an older computer which was still running version 102, so I was able to do a side by side comparison.

First was that certain feeds had lost their icon. And it did make me wonder why. One screen shot shows the RSS feed index as displayed in the left pane of the application. Old Thunderbird showed the site icons, New does not. 115 on left, 102 on right.

Second was the display of the article content. The other screen-shot shows the content of the feed article. New Thunderbird does not show the page content only a like of text, where-as old Thunderbird showed the page within Thunderbird itself. 115 on left, 102 on right

Considering the behaviour of the same feed and article on two versions on the same day, I can only guess that the processing logic has changed.

This is an EMERGENCY. We moved and had to change email. GMX does not work with Thunderbird. I finally settled on Outlook. Now today after we have used Outlook for two months, it has blocked Thunderbird. I have spent two months notifying all my contacts about the new email and now it is sabotaged by Microsoft.

I see a question from last year, but I see no resolution for someone like me who only wanted a new email. Outlook seemed to accept my password, but messages are STILL blocked.

While I was looking for a new email address, I read on THIS FORUM that Gmail did not work well with Thunderbird. What on earth can I do? I am elderly, but use email constantly. I can't believe I have to change again and notify all contacts again. It is a lot of work and embarrassing for me.

Thunderbird update 115.2.2 was automatically installed yesterday. I have local folders that I keep certain emails in. With this update when I move an email to a folder the next time I open email it show up back in my in-box but also stays in the local folder. How can this be corrected?

I am using the IMAP mode of Thunderbird email, recently, the system keeps on downloading the messages in INBOX when I log on the Thunderbird email system, I had been waiting more than 24 hours, it makes me cannot use the Thunderbird email, including open the emails, write the email.

Like that : " downloading message 68 of 10000...." Would you please help to fix it.
