If I right-click on any photo or item in the explorer and choose "share", the mailadresses that show up as options in the "share window" is not associated with Thunderbird, but with Outlook. I have tried every solution I have found on the net, incl. making sure TB was chosen as the mail client for any file type, removing any leftovers from outlook and from registration data base, but still only adresses connected with Outlook shows up (and I can see that it is from an old mailing list, that does not include more recent contacts). So why does the share windows not have assess to Thunderbird and its mail adresses?

Yesterday I was hit with what I understand is a mail or spam bomb in my work email. From 5am to 10am i received 1,400 emails from all random sites. Today i already received 200 emails. This is very stressful searching through these to find actual legit emails from my customers. Speaking to one of my employees this happened to they said they had to close their account and open a new one because the emails never stopped coming. I have had this email for 17 years and it's associated with many business accounts and website contacts so it's not feasible for me to change emails. Is there a way to filter these directly to the junk or spam folder so they don't hit my inbox? Or something else you can recommend to block these? please help

Hello everyone. I have just installed version 115.11.1 (64 bits) on my PC. The fonts of the incoming mail messages display strangely and change when I move the mouse over them. The rest of the programs and windows display normally. The problem only exists in Thunderbird windows. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Could a graphics card at the end of its life be at the root of the problem? Thanks.

My service provider is QX.net which uses Magic Mail web email. I have Firefox 115.ll, 64 bit. I have Thunderbird 115.11.1, 32 bit.

The Magic Mail on my Server shows 253 unread messages. I have identified some of those 253 messages in my Thunderbird folder and they have been read, and are shown as read in Thunderbird. There seem to be 3 different dates involved. This is a concern as it is unacceptable not to receive all of my messages.

Please advise what I can do to address this so that I receive all my messages and so that when I have read them they are shown as "read" in Thunderbird and in Magic Mail.

I sent a message a while back about slowness with 115, which I had to download because I had a crash.

There were various suggestions, but no solutions to the excessive slowness with 115. This culminated to day in a long 'no reply' mail which suggested the issue might be the virus checker.....

I checked again the various messages about 115 - most were archived, only one month since they were posted!!

Is there an issue with 115?? I saw a thread which asked was I having issues with it, my answer is yes, is there nobody out there with a suggestion??

I'm a keyboard only / screen reader user. I have been using thunderbird for a week and love it. I use the portable version. Anyway, is there a way to rearrange my email accounts without dragging? when I add an account I want it to not appear at the bottom of the list. could there be a way to rearrange said accounts either with a keyboard, or via a setting to move up and down the account via buttons and have it take effect in the tree view? I've been looking for such a solution for a while now. If not, might there be an add on I can use which can aid in doing this? thanks.

By mistake I set up my 89 year old aunties TB using a Beta version. All of her emails are in that profile. I then installed the stable version but I'm told that the stable version is an older versions and can not import from the Beta.

Specifically the Beta version is 127.0b4 (64-bit) and the stable vesrion is 115.11.1 (64-bit).

Is there any way to recover the emails (and if possible the settings) from the Beta profile to the stable release

I cannot select multiple messages in any folder and move them to any other folder/ Filters will not work either.

As an example, I select 3 messages if my inbox and try to drag them to trash

I get an error popup that says "The messages could not be moved or copied to folder 'Trash on Local Folders' because writing to folder failed. To gain disk space, from the File menu, first choose Empty Trash, and then choose Compact Folders, and then try again."

Trash folder had been compacted and emptied.

I'd like to use microsoft exchanges in to the thunderbird desktop app. Is that possible? I've tried to set it up but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm able to receive emails but when I try to send it asks for a password and it says it's not correct....

I don't lnow. That is why I am asking for help. 1). I have installed Thunderbird on my PC and have your Icon on my desktop. I have a Domain, 'handmadebooks.co.uk hosted by Go Daddy.I want to move my email address chris@handmadebooks.co.uk to the Thunderbird’ icon.

2)I haven't used Thunderbird for sometime. I used to click on the icon and a standard window would appear featuring messages, new and oldbut that doesn't happen anymore. I don't want to find the original page because I will probably lose contact again My IT skills are very limited thanks guys, Chris’

Witam, Mam problem z wysyłaniem wiadomości przez Thunderbird. Przy próbie wysłania wyskakuje takowy komunikat. Nie rozumiem z jakiego powodu mogłem dostać blokadę, ponieważ nie wysyłam aż tylu wiadomości, żeby można je było uznać za spam. Co mogę zrobić w takiej sytuacji, aby jak najszybciej odblokować swoje konto? Proszę o jak najszybszą pomoc, możliwość wysyłania wiadomości jest mi bardzo potrzebna. Pozdrawiam.

ich benötige Hilfe das Googlefenster weg zu bekommen. Ich möchte mich nicht über Google anmelden, wenn ich es auch über Mozilla kann. Die Anmeldedaten von Mozilla funktionieren nicht.

Bitte sagen Sie mir, wie ich das Problem lösen kann.

In dem Fenster habe ich keine Möglichkeiten die Links an zu klicken, da dann das Fenster weiß wird. Ich kann es nur wegklicken, es kommt aber innerhalb von 5 Minuten wieder. Oder ich melde mich mit google an, was ich aber nicht möchte.

I have been a Firefox and Thunderbird Beta user for decades and all is well until I installed the latest Thunderbird 127 (Beta) It's suppose to be a Final release. Now I get a large ad/notice, informing me to use this version at my own risk and to download the older, stable release.

See attached image. The add takes up a large amount of space on the email client and is very annoying.

How do I get rid of it, never to see it, again?

I do not have an account that I wish to migrate within Thunderbird but I just need to use it to view some .msg files. Each time I try to open a .msg file to view it, I am asked to log in to Thunderbird. Is there any way of just viewing the messages without requiring an associated email account? The messages relate to an investigation I am conducting and I do not own the recipient's account.

My email inbox is really a task list. I find that I email myself items that I need to work on so that they are in the inbox. It's a tiny thing, but it would be so much more convenient to be able to view/edit the task list alongside the email inbox. I organize my emails with the listing of emails full-height on the screen with the preview window to the right of that. I would like to be able to see the Task List to the right of the preview pane. At this point, it appears that only the Today pane can be shown there. This requested feature is supported in Outlook, but the Outlook "task list" is not as nice as Thunderbird's because their "tasks" are just emails that have been flagged - not very useful. Thanks for your consideration.

It has been one year, and you still have not fixed the multiselect functionality that was ruined with your Supernova "update" (which is worse in almost all aspects btw). Can you at least tell us WHEN you plan to release the fix since you locked the comments to block the countless negative ones? Is it so hard for your UX team to understand that removing multiselect functionality is like removing Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V and set the correct priority???
