Why don't the messages remain in an orderly fashion instead of jumping all over the place??

How can I turn off the threading of my emails? Its driving me crazy as when an email comes in after a short time it disappears into the threads and then I have to open each thread to find out who sent the email. At one stage there were 6 emails noted near the inbox but no new unthreaded message, all went to respective threads. Very time wasting.

We have been trying to repair the sent folder in Thunderbird without success. Messages do not get saved there. Several recently have ended threads an said there is no support for email but that seems to be confused? In any case it loos like there is no simple fix to get the sent folder back. Do you think it would solve the issue to uninstall Thunderbird and install it again? Thank you for the help.

I am only in your site as I kept clicking the screen several times and you popped up. Forgot my original password. I am getting your messages on Spectrum Webmail. At the end of January I could not sent out an email; then could not receive an email. Was working fine up to then. Do not know what happened. I have been using your product thunderbird for my email purposes. Recently I upgraded my HDD capacity to 4TB and copied all my files across, which worked OK.
My thunderbird email platform now has two inboxes and the incoming mail appears in both inboxes, which is becoming inconvienent.
Q: How do I delete one of those inboxes with out risking a major loss of folders?
