The Add to home screen button is not showing up in firefox mobile v87.0.0-rc.1 (Build #2015799099).

For the purpouse of this ticket, I'll be using the example a2hs website at https://mdn.github.io/pwa-examples/a2hs/ https://mdn.github.io/pwa-examples/a2hs/.

When opening the website in Chrome mobile, it has the option to Install the PWA as an application (picture 1), but in firefox there is no such option (picture 2). Also, the official guide suggests that there should be a "home icon with a +", which is not the case for me (picture 3).

The firefox application has permission to add homescreen shortcuts in the system (picture 4).

When connecting to debug via USB, I can see the serviceworker is running and the manifest was recognized (picture 5).

I've also tried reinstalling the mobile browser and removing all addons, to no effect.

I'm running Android 10 on a Poco X3 using MIUI 12.0.7.

I don't know else I may be missing.

Hi, im using latest Firefox for Android. Problem is that visited pages is not get highlighted after reloading. To reproduce the problem; search something on google, click open a link then come back to google, the link is highlighted purple ok but once the google page is refreshed or browser reopened same google search page doesnt highlight the link as if it wasnt visited before.

I’m having trouble with Firefox Sync on my Pixel 4a. My iPhone and iPad can see the synced tabs that are open on my Pixel, but my Pixel can’t see any synced tabs from my other devices. I have tried signing out and signing back into my Firefox account but that hasn’t helped.

Without any difference in functionality the grid view doesn't make much sense to me. For a long time Firefox was the preferred browser on my phone, mainly because it was the only one that supported manual tab reordering. The fact is that I often have a lot of Web pages open in tabs, and I plan to read them later. With Firefox I could quickly set the priority of reading, moving tabs up or down. Suddenly Mozilla made the tabs unmovable and introduced collections instead. Collections are convenient, but don’t replace manual tab reordering. They are great for routine tasks. But on phones, the vast majority of routine tasks are performed by their own applications, so, collections can only be useful for news and forums. However, even while reading the news, I open several tabs that I often need to rearrange. Thus, Firefox became much less attractive to me. Around the same time, Google’s Chrome made tabs movable and even introduced groups of tabs to make browsing more convenient. I recently realized that I now prefer Chrome. I only open Firefox when I need to listen to music videos in background or access my bookmarks and Firefox accounts. Will Mozilla team ever again return manual change the order of tabs?

I have it to where notifications from YouTube are allowed but I don't recieve any.

I go into YouTube's notifications settings and switch on the "Get Notifications in this browser" option and it works for a bit, then it'll switch itself back off in less than a day. Is there anyway to prevent it from doing this?

I've tried this in other browsers and they don't have this issue.

I have unwanted URLs autocompleting when I am using the search bar on my Android firefox browser and only my Android firefox browser and despite the many guides showing people how to removed them in the windows version, such as deleting them one at a time by typing part of a URL them pressing the down arrow to highlight the unwanted URL then press delete, but I havn't found anything showing that shows people how to removed unwanted URLs.

Because my unwanted URLs are only showing up on my Andriod firefox browser I can't use the desktop solutions then sync my browser's to get rid of them. Is there a way to get rid of my unwanted URLs that autocomplete in Andriod firefox browser only using the Andriod firefox browser?

I believe this is simple yet must have on a good browser. History section should be able to show date/timestamp. I'm very surprised it hasnt been available for some time.

Ok when I am on a website and I have to fill out a form for some reason on Firefox will not allow me to enter information on the line Well it does but mixed-up the text or numbers so in order for me fix it I have to hit space after every input , how do I fix it so I just enter my info and it will go in correctly?
