Even though I've never changed my settings aside from the first time I changed them to my preferred settings, for whatever reason, Firefox no longer opens links I tap on in external apps. I changed the settings to do it that way the very first time and it worked fine up until a little while ago. Now, the only way it opens a link in the external app when I tap on it, is if I tap and hold, and then choose that option in the pop-up menu. As I said, in the settings it IS set to open links in external apps, but it doesn't do it anymore.

Dear Sir/Madam, Recently I have been having issues accessing a particular website named asus.com for reasons I am unable to discern I keep receiving an error message each time I attempt to access the site. I keep receiving an error message indicating that the site cannot be reached. It should be noted that I do not have any issues with any other websites. I need help with fixing certs I beleive were changed by an application. I found some files in an application I installed through another without fully looking at the extra packaged material. One seems to be a configuration file for CA certs and the other is a list of SSL certs taken from Mozilla that were included with the intent of editing trusted user certs. I now see the evidence of a Linux device using my Firefox. To me, that is pretty clear evidence that Shell was used for some connection. So, with that, I'm assuming the certs on my device are not correct, and need to be fixed. Please let me know what I can do for this and if there is any other information you can give me on how to find out more about what to do. Unfortunately, there are also files that seem to also change user to a fake user while they gain root as guest. Any additional information including removing and replacing all certs wouldbe very helpful. Im trying to get to a certain point of restricting access and making a move to alert the correct people in Github and a couple of others with/towards some of the files before I do any kind of reset as I am not fully sure how tainted the restore might be.

I foolishly upgraded to the latest Android mobile version. I like my bookmarks kept in the order I set them. Firefox, with the new version has decided they should be alphabetical once again. I have turned off this annoying behaviour in previous versions by disabling Compose Bookmarks in the secret settings. This option is no longer visible. How do I get my bookmarks back in the order want and stop firedox from screwing them up again?

What is this obsession the development team have with screwing up user bookmark organisation? This keeps coming back like a bad penny.

Since the last update the following error occurs: If I delete individual entries in the browser history, they don't stay deleted, hey are back after a while.

Is this a bug?

Hello, due to problems with the Firefox Beta (for Android), I switched to the stable version. However, with this version I also encounterd some problems, mainly regarding the homepage: In the beta version collections are displayed (at the bottom) of the homepage. In my stable version, I cannot see the collections at all. I can still add sites to collections, and when doing so, all my collections are shown but I don't know how to access them. I could not find anything about it in the settings. Is this the regular behavior? If not, how can I change it?

It's very frustrating to use Firefox as alternative to Chrome. It should be fast and reliable in browsing, which is fitting issues compared to chromium browsers like Chrome, Brave. Thanks.

I have zero interest in this nonsense malware being added, especially with their terrible reputation for security

Recently, my homepage has started showing shortcuts again, a feature I previously had turned off cause I dislike it and it often just shows random sites and searches I've done. I went to turn it off again, only for the toggle switch or shortcuts section of the customization settings to not be there at all??? Is this a glitch? Because I don't like this feature and I really hope they've changed it to something you can't turn off

I am experiencing an issue on my Samsung J5 running Android 5. When I try to set Firefox as the default browser, I am redirected to an information page. While helpful, it does not mention that Firefox cannot be set as the default browser on Android versions below 8.

It would be clearer if this limitation were explicitly stated on that page.

Hi - Is it possible to backup and/or transfer pinned shortcuts (that show up when you open a new tab) from one android device to another? Is it possible to sync changes to pins? Last, is it possible to increase the amount of space for pinned sites? Thanks in advance for the help!

When I open the tab tray and realize that I don't know where the tab I'm looking for is, I would like to be able to type some search terms to find it.

This is when I am searching for a tab that I know is open, so I'm not using the new tab workflow.
