Howdy everyone! I have been using the Internet pretty much every day since I picked my first android up, from the very early days i had learnt that security is "essential" with your anti virus/bloatware/malware and whatever else you could probably think of is potentially harmful to your device! Anyway, what I'm saying is why don't we have anything on our modern day social apparatus similar to a firewall qt all please?! Why aren't we using them and why at least aren't our phones at least now coming new with some type of security app that can help teach us how to make our own firewall or security systems!??! 🤔

Since the last update the on top YouTube videos are not playing anymore. When open YouTube video full screen with browser, then clicking on home button. It opens on top video. But this video is not playing. Could you please fix it? Regards

Latest version (version above) on Android appears to have issues on startup of displaying shortcuts on the homepage. It doesn't initially display them, but if I select the private browsing symbol, then select it again to return to normal browsing, the shortcuts reappear. Then when I start Firefox later, having closed it down for a while, the same issue occurs.

Also, from not showing the homepage icons, clicking the '0' and clicking the '+' to add a new tab displays the icons.

Firefox used to start up and display the shortcuts without having to go through the above process.

I've tried various settings for the homepage but none resolve this.

Anyone having the same issue?

I recently discovered ecosia.org search engine and decided to add it to Firefox on my mobile device. However when I search for something, the attached '404' page is shown. This invites me to 'return to ecosia.org' and re-enter the search parameters. Perhaps I entered the wrong URL for ecosia.org? Does it try to load the browser of that name instead of the search engine?

I'm using a few pages that need some time and a open connection to generate it's content (namely: A locally hosted AI). Accessing it from different desktop-systems works fine, but I noticed that Firefox Mobile (or Android) is terminating the connection as soon as my phone locks itself. Everything that the AI generates after is no longer displayed and I need to regenerate it. Is there a way/a setting to keep the connection open? So I can just set my phone to the side while the AI is generating?

Firefox doesnt even enter passwords for Firefox. HOW DO I DESIGNATE FIREFOX AS DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE AND PREVENT IT BEING CHANGED. the directions how to add a search engine are indecipherable and dont work.

Hello, I use the Firefox app for iOS but have the following issue with Greatest hits radio 60's find all that happens is that the page loads up but does not connect to the site. All I get is a circle at the bottom of the screen just going around and around. Any help would be appreciated

when I click a link, always a pop up comes up asking to which app the link should use to open.. Let's say I have another app as default but when I browse in Firefox it's always asking for which application it should open.. when I click firefox it's always opening a new tab to open the link. it's keep opening a new tab everytime

Back button jumps back two pages. Happened on Google search. Cannot recreate on demand.

Also goes back to previous search if select a new search from the autofill drop down(recommended searches?) twice.

Ex. "I searched Scotiabank, then select Scotiabank phone number from suggested searches. Once there, I select Scotiabank customer service chat but instead of getting those results it sends me back to the original Scotiabank search results."

It doesn't always happen with here but can always seem to recreate by using the back button.
