Firefox has been a great browser on my new S22 however I have noticed recently that it has been dropping my battery percentage extremely fast, and I notice its lower almost every minute I check. This is confirmed in the battery settings menu where it shows an abnormally high amount of usage, when I mainly use Firefox for general browsing and close background tabs.

I keep trying to modify 'homepage' prefs in settings, but unlike desktop,; there's no option to "set home page to current one"..much less set up screen saver or custom photos or anything...on my Samsung, it just shows a blueish backlight everytime I turn it on or even just exit settings!

Hi, I have a problem with my firefox app. Everytime I play or skip a port of a video, it plays stuttering and return normal only If I rewind some second (if I pause it nothing change). Anyone knows why? Is there some way to solve this problem? I have deleted every data, cookies etc, every add-on and reinstalled the app but nothing changed. I also formatted every setting of my device but same result. Oh, also, this problem don't happen with other apps like gallery or chrome. It stutters even if I have just Firefox opened video

Hi! I been using youtube through firefox on my phone for awhile now. Mostly since it allows me to play the video when the screen is off.

I have now swapped phone to a HTC U23 Pro. After the change everytime that i look at a video now it stutters a lot. No matter the network connection.

On my old Samsung A71 it still works fine.

It works fine in the youtube app or through grayjay.

Have removed every add on i have and resinstalled firefox but the issue is the same.

Any tips on what i can do to fix it?

I have Avast premium security on my Android Motorola G6. Every time I open Firefox this malicious website tries to open! I deleted my history and it still comes back. Also when I'm not using the Firefox browser it still tries to open! Once I open the browser sometimes there are as many as seven or more attempts by this page to open! The new sepia reading mode cannot be turned off easily without compromising privacy. If i click to set it to dark mode through controls , the next page is sepia again. But if i use the fast way, by clicking on the icon next to the url, it turns my page from a https to a http. It feels like the feature is not supposed to work like that. Now i think about it, any page that by default is https is darkmode, but any page that is turned into an https is turned sepia or not https anymore. I get that it strains the eyes less and i am certainly not against the feature itself, but i do enjoy pictures and video's in full colour and for me personally, dark mode reads better.

In other words, i love it as a feature not as a default and i don't think it was meant as one, but it cannot be turned off right now.

On my S24 when I use Firefox the screen starts flickering and it's impossible to navigate. Only fix is to restart the phone. Online there are lot of users of the S24 series that complaints about this issue. Can you please provide a fix? Or I will have to find an alternative for Firefox
