Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. ...Desktop site option setting does not stick! After switching tabs for 5 mins, it changes back to mobile site view & I HAVE TO X out of tab, reopen it, & check desktop site again! You can't just reset the desktop site option on & off either, doesn't work. You MUST X out the tab & start all over. ...It's a real pia! In older versions it always worked, always defaulted even days later! However, NOT in the last few versions, why can't it still currently work now? It should! ...And god for bid you find any real support! And probably won't get it here either. ...."IS" there ANY real, live support around here? A developer email? Anything??? I have an android phone. A website required me to update Firefox to use the website. I hate updating Firefox. This time I lost the mic on my search bar in Firefox and in any of the browsers I select.

How do I restore the ability to ask questions orally?

Please give step by step solutions. If you say " go to the X feature," please tell me exactly how to get there and assume I know nothing. It is all too accurate!

In about.config i set javascript.enabled false for most browsing, unless i really need to do otherwise (e.g. ecommerce). If i close the app (menu quit), and restart it, javacript.enabled is reset true. This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

I can't seem to find a way to pin bookmark tiles on the homepage (new tab). I also want to stop recently visited site tiles from appearing there if possible. Homepage and Customize in Settings don't seem to have any options for that now. Android 14, Firefox 120.0.1, Pixel 7a phone.

Hi really sorry about this I'm new to Firefox & I don't know how to report a possible bug or if this is even a bug but I opened Firefox this morning & my search bar is now at the bottom of my screen even after closing & reopening it

I'm wondering why FF doesn't have something built into the browser that will resize text when you zoom in. Right now, if I zoom in on text, it DOES get larger, but then it also goes outside the edges of the browser so that I have to constantly scroll left and right to read the article I did come across an add on, but come on. This is something basic that should be build into the browser:

I am using the Firefox Nightly version and when I click on links related to Instagram, YouTube or other applications, it takes me directly to the application.

But when I click on the my course link, it directs me directly to Microsoft's own site to download the application. (Microsoft Teams)

I tried this in other browsers, but they did not have such a problem. That's why I downloaded and tried other Firefox versions, but they also have the same problem...

I also disabled the extensions but the problem is the same.

So the problem is, while Firefox Nightly opens other sites in the application, it does not open it in the application when i click on this course link. What is the source of the problem?

so i want to delete bookmarks, passwords, cookies, site history, everything!!!

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but somehow it didnt remove my passwords (and no i didnt enable sync after reinstall)

Reason: I have just spent a good amount of time cleaning up old passwords that i dont use anymore or have changed and not been updated from some reason. When i re-enable sync, I dont want the saved passwords from my phone to resync to my PC. To be absolutely sure that this doesnt happen i would like to just resync all the data to my phone from my sync account.

I had been using firefox as the standard browser for years, but since the DNS-over-HTTPS feature I have had trouble with protecting my family on the web via DNS filtering. Currently the only solution that has worked is to use a different browser (the Spin browser, for whoever is interested). I have Firefox blocked using the Android family link feature (and they can't install new apps without permission). Personally, I would love to move everyone back to Firefox, but I can't find a way to do it safely. Is there a way to effectively disable DNS-over-HTTPS such that it can't be changed (kids are pretty quick at figuring out that they can just go to the settings and figuring out that they can turn the feautre back on). A parental control feature would be ideal, so I can just set the DNS-over-HTTPS to use the family DNS filter in a way they can't turn it off. Does anyone have an helpful solution, or is Firefox dead for family protection?

When the browser tries to Autofill a URL it often goes to some popular website I never use or care about. This is a deal breaker and will have to switch to a new browser if this isn't fixed and I can't find anything in my settings to correct it. How do I fix this?

Hi there! I keep having this issue where firefox keeps toggling security.enterprise_roots.enabled to false whenever i close it. Tried adding the security.certerrors.mitm.auto_enable_enterprise_roots Preference and set it to true, but still didn't qork and if i close the browser it's a given i have to go back to about:config to set the preference or i will start to see the typical errors again. The certificate is from adguard and it has worked for quite some time, i cannot explain this sudden behaviour and it seems to be an old bug that i thought was resolved by now. Should i post this in bugzilla?

Hi, I'm running ... Firefox 120.0? On a US Samsung Galaxy S22 running Android 14 and One UI 6.0.

Korean characters used to display in a uniform font but after a recent phone update, I now get different fonts (with greatly decreased readability). I can't find any font options in the Firefox app and the only thing language-related is what language Firefox menus are in. I also can't find any relevant font options in the phone settings either - can someone help?

Today, when attempting to print a pdf, connection was lost between Android phone and printer. Computers still have printing privilege. The error msg says Firefox blocked. How is this error corrected. Thanks, Jane
