For years, I've been using FF on desktop (Linux), tablet (Android) and phone (Android - Samsung S24+). Sync has never been a problem until two weeks ago when FF on the phone has either refused to sync when I tapped the command, or hasn't synced for many hours or sometimes days (which is why I tried to do it manually). So, I signed out of my FF account on all 3 devices and then signed back in. The desktop computer and tablet are syncing normally, but the phone still won't sync. When I tap the 3-dot menu on the phone and then my name, it says the phone has NEVER been synced and tapping the sync command does nothing. Under "Choose what to sync", all options are checked, but greyed out. Can't change them, in other words. When I access bookmarks on the phone, it properly shows what was there before the last sync. The phone is running FF version 150.0 Build 2016155439

Video are stuttering when I play on YouTube.com as well as on streaming websites. I have used firefox beta to modify "layout.frame_rate" and "layout.throttled_frame_rate" to 60. My phone is Motorola's Signature. Video is working for now but please look into it and fix this permanently.

When doing a search in the address bar (on firefox android), and then going back to the search result, one cannot modify easily the entered text.

Example: - In address bar (independent of the engine search) enter these keywords: "firefox search bar" - In the result list, click on any link. - Then go back to modify your search, you get:

Whish is a painful to change or just add an extra keyword!

Something wrong it's happening since the last update. When typing a word in the Google search bar it adds random letters. For example if I'm trying to type Mozi(lla) I get "mozizo". My keyboard is working fine with other apps, I switched to another keyboard and the glitch persists

There's an issue with Android Firefox where a tab sometimes just suddenly freezes and there's nothing I can do to unfreeze it. I cleared cache, restarted the app, refreshes the page and nothing works. The only thing I can do is to copy the link, close the tab, and open the link on a new tab.

I had a phone set up for synchronization, and the tabs were synced. Now, that phone has disappeared from my main phone—the one that listed all the devices—and all the tabs are gone. What should I do?

How can I get my tabs back? 😭

I suspect the problem is caused by Firefox's Gecko-based Android media stack.

Device:

Honor Magic V5 Snapdragon 8 Elite MagicOS 10.0.0.157

Software:

Firefox Android 152.0.6 uBlock Origin the only extension

Reproduction:

Open any YouTube video in Firefox. Play at 720p or higher. Pause/resume or seek. Audio and video begin intermittent stuttering. Switch to another app and return to Firefox and playback immediately returns to normal without reloading the site.

Comparison:

Chrome: works fine Vivaldi: works fine DuckDuckGo Browser: works fine

Things tested:

Hardware acceleration enabled. Battery optimization disabled. Performance mode enabled. Cache/history cleared. media.android-media-codec.preferred tested. gfx.webrender.software tested. AVC and VP9 both affected. Inner and outer displays affected. Desktop mode also affected. Firefox Nightly stutters even without seeking.

Recently (perhaps the last week) I've had an issue where playing a youtube video in fullscreen doesn't fill the screen, instead having significant letterboxing on sides and bottom, in addition to the small amount caused by 18:9 screen. Can't find setting to fix, tried reinstalling and using without account/extensions.

If i type something like go to the search/url-bar it adds google.com automaticly then i press next letter like l and it adds an o so it reads golo and I have to wipe o out to continue typing what I want to search

Hello, I am using fire fox on a Nothing phone 4a Pro. Recently the page formatting has changed on YouTube. It wasn't originally like this... As you can see in the photos, when browsing through a channels videos it has them organized in a weird manner to where I cannot read video titles... The YouTube homepage has also changed. I think my app updated and then it automatically formatted YouTube this way. Firefox YouTube on my Samsung and iPhone are not having this problem.

I haven't received a reply for a long time, so I've completely rewritten the entire content of my post. Below is the updated version：

Device： Firefox for Android, version 150.3

Issue Description： When "Hide toolbar when scrolling" is enabled, webpages (especially search result pages) fail to load completely — content cuts off before reaching the bottom. Disabling this option resolves the issue immediately.

Steps to Reproduce：

1. Go to Settings → enable "Hide toolbar when scrolling" 2. Open any search engine and search for a keyword (e.g., "bbc news") 3. Scroll down to the bottom of the search results page

Expected Result： The page loads completely to the bottom Actual Result： The page stops loading prematurely; bottom content is missing

Additional Notes： I have a screen recording demonstrating this issue, but the forum does not support video uploads. I'm happy to share a video link or send it via email if needed.

Also, it would be great if the feedback page could support Chinese — I currently have to rely on translation tools to submit reports, which adds extra friction.

Was setting up Firefox account and getting VPN and as I was paying with card I got lost trying to enter codes. Can you help me get back on track and help me set up Firefox account and finish setting up paying for VPN?
