For the past two weeks, I haven’t been able to access youtube.com on Firefox. Every other browser loads it without any issues. I’ve already tried switching devices, reinstalling Firefox, changing networks and locations—but nothing fixes it. The YouTube app works fine, and this problem only occurs when opening youtube.com in Firefox.

On desktop Firefox, I get:

On mobile Firefox, I get:

I was thinking use clear data to free up some space for my storage, so I sync with sync 0 min ago display. I log back in, everything disappear. Little stressed. Anyway to get back my data?

I’ve noticed that Firefox on my Android phone becomes noticeably slow whenever I open certain video or streaming pages. The browser doesn’t crash, but the page takes a long time to respond, and scrolling becomes choppy until the video fully loads.

I’ve tried clearing the cache, disabling add-ons, and testing on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. The issue only seems to happen on Firefox — the same sites load smoothly on other browsers.

Is this a known performance limitation, or is there something in the settings I should adjust? I’m not sure if it’s related to media decoding or just heavy websites.

Randomly deleted everything. No new device added, no password change (wish is ridiculous y'all aren't sharp enough to create an encryption mechanism that doesn't delete on pass change), no device removed. Last week my collections just disappeared from the home screen of Firefox. I used them as bookmark folders, so now it's quite inconvenient. Is it a bug or a new feature, how do I access my collection in Android?

This is all on my Android phone but I use the Stash app for investing here https://www.stash.com/ but the Google SSO button redirects me to https://accounts.google.com/gsi/transform with a blank screen and nothing happens. If I instead open the webview in Firefox as part of the browser app, then Google SSO works fine for me. Since it works in Firefox as a browser it seems to me this must be a bug in Firefox when in a webview. Any idea what's going on?

Many other Android apps (like Chrome, dedicated download managers, or media players) can maintain active background tasks even when swiped from recents. ​Steps to Reproduce ​Open Firefox for Android. ​Navigate to a website with a large file (e.g., a 200MB test file). ​Start the download and confirm it is active (visible in the notification panel). ​Press the Home button (or swipe up) to go to the main home screen. ​Open the Recent Apps / Overview screen. ​Swipe the Firefox app card away to close it completely. ​Check the Android notification panel and the Firefox Downloads history. ​Actual Result ​The active download is immediately and permanently cancelled. It must be started again from the beginning, leading to data waste and user frustration, especially on slow or unstable connections.

ESET advised me to change my Facebook password. I decided to accept a randomly generated password so I can't remember it - I had to manually edit it in Firefox Password Manager on my desktop. I have reinstalled Firefox on my Android phone and successfully SYNCed it to the desktop, but Facebook keeps trying to use the old password.

I have a Pixel 8 Pro, I 'see' Paypal passkeys created by my Win 11 machine and by Chrome on my Pixel 8 Pro. The passkey page on PayPal says passkeys can't be created on 'this device or browser'. Exact same screen on all three firefox browsers.

Tried creating a passkey for www.yahoo.com and it says 'Passkey could not be created. Try Again' So that says it's not specific site related. Can a site dictate what's allowed? ( I have no idea)

When switching apps from Firefox to other apps, it almost always reloads the webpage. This is annoying in the certain scenarios

1. After I enter my username, it goes to a password page. I switch app to my password manager to copy my password. Comes back to Firefox and it refreshes, going back to username screen. Impossible to login. 2. After I enter my username and password, I need to go to SMS or Outlook app or Authenticator app to obtain the MFA code. Comes back to Firefox and it refreshes, going back to the login screen. Impossible to login.

This happens to various websites. I have no issue with Chrome or Brave on the same phone. I even tried terminating all apps leaving with just Firefox and the same symptom happens. Memory is sufficient, my phone has 12GB of RAM.

I tend to keep up with the latest release rather than waiting for a new version on Google Play. This implies download of the apk, install. Firefox puts significant scrutiny on this signed apk, downloaded from a generally safe site (github), from a repo with ~10k ⭐'s.

I feel Firefox could be a bit more coherent in its security compulsiveness (which is not unreasonable to have).
