Hello, Yesterday's android update wiped alk my bookmarks and history from my mobile. Any way of retrieving them?

Greetings and thank you for your time. I am so tired of every update changing how Firefox Android handles video and audio file types ~ MIMEs. I want a permanent setting to propting us , to ask us what I want to do when we click on a video or audio link. Maybe everyone else just wants to play it. But I don't and I'm sure I'm not alone. -_-

It would be wonderful if Firefox Android would have the same answers as Firefox for desktop specifically: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-firefox-behavior-when-open-file#w_download-actions

Maybe I'm not searching correctly but I spent hours searching for a solution before posting this question. Also for previous FFA versions this question is always being asked after every update! WHEN will we as a community stop disabling the ability to control what we do with audio and video links! -_-

Please do not suggest a third-party plugin when this is an innate browser function!

The OK button in the Character Encoding page disappeared in the latest version. Even after I choose a code page, it only shows the Cancel button and doesn't allow me to change encoding.

As directed, I removed sync on the Windows browser, and logged in to create a new Sync account. On Android, it was a new install. Couldn't see my bookmarks from the Windows browser on Android, just some bookmarks added to new installs. On Windows, I deleted my sync account and added it again, and uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox on Android. Same result. The old sync let me see my Windows bookmarks on Android (although not the reverse). Now there is nothing. What's the point of sync if it no longer crosses between different platforms?

When attempting to download the Chicago Tribune for offline reading using the olive mobile viewer for tablets, I get the message "An error occurred while downloading pleas try again.

How can I modify my android Firefox browser to keep the screen on when the browser app is active even if the phone settings is set to turn off the screen after 15 seconds?

I've had version 18 of Firefox for Android for a few months, but never really got around to updating it. Now when I go to the about firefox page and try to update it, it says there are no updates available. I know that Firefox 20 is already available (well it should be since the desktop version is). How come I can't update it?

Recently downloaded Firefox for my Android smarphone, and was expecting it would at least be on par with the Dolphin Browser or Google Chrome. Both of those apps have a simple Voice Search button built into the browser. That really helps when we'e driving and need to search for something handsfree.

Am I not seeing something, or does the Firefox mobile app not have this rather common feature? I couldn't find anything in the Add On section, either.

Any advice will be appreciated. I surely dont want to download multiple bulk-sized browsers on this phone just for that.

Hi Could anyone suggest me, how can I configure Firefox on Android to open supported URLs in local applications by default (immediately on page opening, instead to manually touch special button)? Will be perfect, if we can set this option only for some URL patterns/apps
