How can I permanently, completely disable the Top Sites tab? It's an outrageous privacy violation. How about I come over to the houses of the people who invented it when you have guests over and tell them which websites you've been to lately? Because that's basically the same thing.

At least Google collects data for themselves and NSA without showing it to ANYONE WHO LOOKS AT YOUR PHONE.

I am running Firefox Mobile 26.0.1 on a Fairphone with Android 4.2.2. I am fully aware of how I should remove the History (and Top Sites): Settings -> Privacy -> Clear private data -> (selecting all) Clear data

After doing this, I even get the "Private data cleared" alert pop-up, but it has no effect! All the history and top sites are still there.

I just un- and reinstalled the app from the play-store, so there should be no add-ons present any more. Previously, I had the app "CleanQuit" installed. (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/android/addon/cleanquit/) It clears the history on closing Firefox which did indeed work. But I cannot delete the history in the way described above...

Hello. I have a Galaxy Note 3. If I go to youtube.com in Firefox, play a video, and click on fullscreen, Firefox will crash and a notification will come up with title "Prevention information" and description "An application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system...". This notification is generated by "Knox Notification Manager", an app that comes preinstalled.

I know this problem is probably not exactly Firefox's fault, however some of other browsers are able to handle the exact same situation without any problem. Can you fix this problem, or is there a configuration that I can do to fix this?

My system info: Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (T-Mobile) OS: Android 4.3 Adobe Flash Player ver. 11.1.115.81 Firefox for Android ver. 26.0.1

Tab section has, at top, icons of hat, mask and two arrows.

These are not explained in Tips and Tricks, which is only help I could find.

Would you please help for all features.

Untill quite recently I was able to use Firefox in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2's multi window feature. It has now disappeared. Why is this? Has the feature been removed on an update? Can I get it back? I liked this feature as it will was very useful for displaying flash pages side by side with another web. Please help. I have tried reinstalling the app but to no avail. Any help or suggestions would be great.

If I respond to reddit threads there are times when I hit the text field and it shows a cursor, but as I type the text will not show. The text is being entered and I can see it in the keyboard suggestion. I have to blind type some text, hit the switch app menu and select Firefox again to see what I typed.

It also has a hard time determining where the cursor actually is ( this text box I'm typing in just did this when I tapped a word to edit it ). If I try to move the cursor it seems to be stuck where it last was no matter how many times I click to move it. It visually appears to move, but if I start typing the text replaces or types where I last was. Swapping to the app selection screen and back seems to reset the cursor properly after I tap again.

On top of that, there are times when I close a tab ( I know, not related to slowness,etc.) the content of the closed tab will show up overtop of the tab that should be showing.

Also, it doesn't matter if I set the about:config flag the the smart bar or whatever it's called, touching tre page makes my tab bar slide closed and I want it to remain open like the last version.

This latest version is just really bad and it's starting to piss me off!

can't we get firefox browser for windows phone 8?its nokia lumia 620, if yes then how? if no then why? do i have to change my device and switch to android for this browser?
