Hi all, When I google an address, none of my options to click on, like directions, or open in Google maps, will open the Google maps app. They always open the webpage even though I have "open links in apps" set to always

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. A few weeks ago, I was having trouble logging into my Twitter account on Firefox (not on Edge). In an unrelated issue, I had to reformate my computer, and the problem went away. Today, Firefox updated itself, and the problem returned. I have it bookmarked as a pinned tab, and when I click on it, I get an error message, and it won't let me log in. However, if I right click on the same tab, and select "open in private window", it lets me log in, no issues. I don't really want to have a new window open though, and it worked after I reformatted, and before this update. I have done what previous people have suggested (clicking on the security icon to turn off security for that page), but it doesn't help. Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks in advance...

I last updated Firefox on Feb 5, and had Ublock, Privacy Badger, and Search by Image we add-ons. Tonight, just randomly, I noticed that typed text wasn't appearing in the text box (although the suggestions showed up in the keyboard) at all on every webpage and site.

Uninstalling and reinstalling (along with the add-ons) did the trick. I am really curious what the root cause was. Hopefully nothing sinister.

Hello all. I have a strange problem, sorry for the length. So I have a windows pc, and 2 android devices, a cell and a tablet. Sync has not really worked well for over 3 years, and I'm trying yet one more time to fix this. I honestly don't believe it can. Each device is pretty much on its own, so I do not see all of my articles/tabs on all 3. If you were to take a look at each, the tabs are all different. I've tried everything. So let me ask this: is there a way to manually do this? I guess I'll just have to do that. I've signed in and out on both android devices, hit the sync button on all 3, looked for updates on all 3, etc. My cell didn't even show up on my pc for 3 years. I don't want to mess with that one yet {cause it's windows}, I've gone into settings, tried what the articles suggest. Nothing. Weirdly, my bookmarks are fine {thank goodness}. Please help. I have the Goodreads app installed on my OnePlus 8 running Android 13.1. When I get emails from members who comment, instead of the app opening Firefox opens a tab after having cleared defaults. I have also selected the Ask When opening settings but nothing changes. Please explain how to fix this. Thanks

video on websites dont play very smoothly. they are always choppy, and look like they are playing on a really low frame rate. the same os true for youtube, instagram where it is very laggy when any video is played. ps. im on android, cant seem to open about:config area

On Firefox browser (default release or even Firefox nightly) on Android (release 14 or any earlier) when I share link to Gmail app while on YouTube Web site not YouTube app resultant email has a blank email subject

However above does correctly populate subject when using Chrome or it's derivatives like Bravo browser

I am a frequent user of Firefox on multiple platforms, including Android 14, where I frequently use DeX.

However, I am many times forced to use Chrome or Samsung Internet on DeX to get a professional computer desktop experience.

Firefox does not recognize different mouse button clicks and neither does it view websites with high resolution, not even after selecting "Desktop mode", but instead shows a zoomed-in phone view. (I gave tried selecting various zoom levels in settings.) There may be other shortcomings as well.

Perhaps some of the issues can be avoided by changing some settings? However, please address the issue of providing a full desktop experience in DeX. Thanks for a great browser in most other respects on multiple platforms.

Hi, I can use firefox anymore, because it is not usable. If I switch between programs in Android, example firefox to mBanka, then back to Firefox, tab in Firefox will reload and cannot complete forms! All lines are clear. Next problem: If I reuse tab, I cannot load new page, I must close this tab and use new one.

When I browse outlook mail on compose, suddenly it appear very lagging, I not got a chance to write a letter or alphabet, very slowly to type and almos5 hang and consume much memory. This always happen. On other website or open inbox on outlooj mail still fine, but when you in compose page, you experience lagging, even you didnt do anything. Can you fix this?

Hi! I been using youtube through firefox on my phone for awhile now. Mostly since it allows me to play the video when the screen is off.

I have now swapped phone to a HTC U23 Pro. After the change everytime that i look at a video now it stutters a lot. No matter the network connection.

On my old Samsung A71 it still works fine.

It works fine in the youtube app or through grayjay.

Have removed every add on i have and resinstalled firefox but the issue is the same.

Any tips on what i can do to fix it?

I open Gmail links and Firefox opens then in a floating window in android tablet. How to fix this? This is really annoying. I've tried unchecking the Gmail open links in Gmail to speed up browsing setting but that didn't work. Firefox is my default browser . I'm on news Lenovo tablet. I installed Firefox and from Day one I have this problem even before changing any Firefox settings. When I change default browser to Google Chrome it works fine . Also on my Samsung phone the Gmail links open fine in Firefox. I'm only having this problem on my tablet. Can anyone please help?

Two questions: 1. I have a 30 mega bite DSL internet connection, but when I watch some videos I get the whirling circle, sometimes another. Also while the video is paused/locked, it continues to run in the background, so I loose the video during that time. A work around used to be, use the forward or back buttons. This brings me to the second question. 2. What happened to the Forward and Back 10 or 15 seconds buttons or circles? They seem to have gone away recently.

I face this two issues:

1- if you open a photo inside google search, you can't change the browser to Desktop mod

2- I was registering on one of the sites and i leave for second on another app... When i return i found that all the data that i enter to register was removed because firefox refreshing the page 🥲

The second issue need to be fix because i use another browsers when i want to register for Governmental things, for example, that require me to enter the passport number, which is in the photo gallery...

There is a lot of data that you entered and then it is deleted in an instant when you move to another application for a few seconds (there must be a strong temporary storage space

Firefox android RAM memory usage gets sometimes high. I have no addons and only view tabs. Max RAM usage rises to 2 GB and my phone freezes. Opera always runs smoothly with no problems.

Videos "stuttering"/ choppy but audio is fine. Tried watching in many sites but have the same problem. Videos is working fine in other browsers.

Latest Firefox Android version - 122.1.0 OS : OneUI version - 4.1 Android version - 12 Phone - Samsung S10

Have the uBlock Origin add on installed as well.
