For the past few weeks builds, downloading image from any website is weirdly triggering a crash of com.android.phone due to which mobile network is lost as well. Using Samsung Galaxy Note9.

Video playback initially works, until suddenly it doesn't; no new videos will work, and videos that previously played in the same browsing session will stop working. Easy to reproduce on Reddit by browsing any video-heavy subreddit. Leaving a broken video in a tab seems to infect the rest of the browser across websites; if a broken video from site A is open in another tab, videos on site B won't play.

Sometimes quitting and restarting Firefox is enough to temporarily get video playback working again; sometimes I have to manually clear the browser cache; at least once I've had to reboot my phone.

I am a regular user of the Android version but currently when I get my search results it freezes and when it doesn't none of the links are clickable. Other browsers have no issues, anything I can do?

Hi, I just installed Firefox on my phone but I can't download add-ons (see attachments). My connection is fine, I tried disabling the VPN, but it's still the same. Please help. Thank you

Hello. I have been having this problem for a while now. When I enter an address in an existing tab with a :port number at the end of the website address and press the RETURN key the browser does nothing. You can see this issue in the video below. Video will expire on 12th september 2022 https://files.fm/f/xm2mxb829 Only way for me to enter an address with a port is to use an older website link from history or send tab from my desktop through ff sync.

Is there something wrong with my device or is it the browser. Im using firefox for android 102.2.0 on android 10

I am not able to play any video or see any GIF properly. They all appear to be very much zoomed in and cropped. I was able to view all videos perfectly so far. This problem has come in recent updates only.

I installed the "Google" app and the "Firefox" app. When I used the "Google" app to search for images, I found that I couldn't open the searched websites. I tried to use the Samsung browser or Chrome browser and did not have this problem. I like to collect my tabs and delete my all tabs. Collection feature in Firefox let me collect tabs of my name choice, I really like this feature a lot but this feature has a bug

• Suppose I made collection of 3-4 number of tabs as list 1.
• Then i delete all the tabs
• Now when I go to my collection list 1 and select the open tab option from list, the tab comes back but again when I select open tab second time it also bring back all the tabs which was not even in the collection, and it keeps on bringing all the tabs you ever made irrespective of the collection list, though they not add to my collection list but when I open tabs from collection list it brings all the tabs which was deleted and they (tabs) even come back after clearing the browsing history also.

Please fix this problem, the solution which i recommend is

1. Collection of tabs should be separate form other browsing activity it should be like a copy which I can curate accordingly. 2. Collection list should not delete even after clearing the browsing history only by manually delete the collection list does so. 3. Give is the option of select all option for selecting tabs its very hard to select tabs one by one and then group them into my collection

Please fix this problem it's very annoying i have used collection feature in safari try to take hints from them.

As you see the Mozilla is a fresh installed, no extensions installed too. First try - open google search page right from the shortcut that is installed by default on the start screen. Firefox just crash.

The videos look blurry and it seems like a little zoom part can be seen from one corner of the video to zoom in more. The whole video is not controlled within the skin. Nothing in the video can be seen after playing the video due to problems. I have started the application by deleting it several times in a row. In the first case it stays good for a few days and then it causes problems in video play. After browsing all kinds of websites, the videos get blurry. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Since the latest update 114.2 I cannot get Firefox to work properly on my Samsung phone. I have Version 8 of android operating system on the phone. When I attempt to search I just get a blank screen. In the web address box it just has an icon with a line through it and the web address. Refuses to display website. Doesn’t let me change from private browsing to regular browsing. Nothing I do seems to have any effect. Yes, I know I have an older phone but it was fine until this update.

I saw a similar problem and the user said thus 114.2 fixed the problem. Well, it broke mine. Please advise how to correct this problem. Thanks.

I am not on my phone. So the operating system info gathered is not from the system I use on my phone.

Cannot take screenshot of problem (pop up ms from Amazon via Firefox) . . as soon as I pick up the phone or attempt any action whatsoever, the message box disappears. And since I have a fingerprint access option on, the moment my finger touches the screen for full access there is no record of the message for screen capture. Also, if I do nothing, the screen goes black (normal, with time/date etc visible) within a few seconds after the message appears . . though it is waiting for me to touch the screen at which time it reappears again for a few seconds. So it is pick up the phone . . trigger motion detection . . message box appears . . wait a couple of seconds . . black screen . . touch or pick up the phone . . message box . . black screen etc. I can of course do the fingerprint scan and have full phone features, but the preliminary nag "box message" all the time bugs the hell out of me. In the text of my "complaint" I quoted what the message says, it is not from Firefox but does have a tiny Firefox logo upper left. The small rectangular window also has a left/right "full return" arrow (grayed out each one) with a black "pause" button in between the two arrows, and it is not grayed out. However nothing happens if I touch it. In very small print under the main text (first few words of my Amazon review) is a link to the Amazon page where I posted a review of a product. The message itself that I refer to is NOT from Firefox, but is comprised of the first few words of my review headline (not all of it but most) on the Amazon product comment review page. So even though the "content" of the unwanted message is from Amazon, the Firefox logo nevertheless appears (very tiny) in the upper left of the rectangular window, so it appears to be a composite error interaction between Firefox and Amazon. How to tell Firefox to stop posting it? Or how to tell Amazon that their software is somehow involved? I haven't a clue . . ! This is a re-written complaint . . the original one resulted in an email request from "Seburo" who asked for a screenshot, but did not provide a return email address that functioned. Since update to Firefox for Android v114.1.1 I'm unable to:

1. Open any webpage, either by typing the URL or selecting something from bookmarks/homepage. Even the tabs which were previously loaded are shown as blank screen

1. Sync tabs or Access Firefox account. Because I had lots of tabs opened I tried to sync tabs to my desktop Firefox browser using Firefox account, nothing happens when I click on sync

The historic opened tabs are critical for me so I don't have the option to delete the app and install again. Though I tried to clear cache from Android settings but that didn't help either.

About Firefox -> Crashes tab is showing some crash details that is also attached in the post.

YouTube videos on Firefox Android Stable, Beta, and Nighty, experience significant frame drops when viewing "Stats" both on AVC1 and VP9, and on all resolutions. I checked about:config in both Beta and Nightly and HW acceleration was enabled. This was true for a FRESH install as well. I tried this on other devices and the problem persists. Mull, which is a fork of Fennec, plays the same videos without any problems. Other browsers are also fine.

Tested on Samsung S20 One UI 5.1 (Android 13). Tested on Samsung A13 One UI 5.0 (Android 13). Tested Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact (Android 10). Tested on Sony Xperia XZ1 (Android 9).

Can not save images from Google Images, by holding down on the image, and then tapping save image. The menu simply does not pop-up. Holding down on the image results in selection of the image description below. Sometimes you can not save it form the website either, but that is because of website configuration and you can not save it on other browsers, but on other browsers you can save from Google Images by holding down on an image, so it is only the issue of Firefox and not the Google Images website. This issue seems to be present for over 2 years based on online feedback, and it is still not fixed.

The problem is I'm getting the "Unexpected response from server" message when trying to open any web page. Could you try to solve this without me updating the android version? My phone is not new and quick in the terms of performance so I do not update the OC. Please find the error examples, broeser version and my phone's system info attached in a form of screenshots.
