Been happily using Firefox for about 20 years now and am loyal to it. However, recently, it started disappointing me by randomly closing ALL my open tabs on mobile, without a warning. I lost over a year's worth of nearly a thousand tabs. I've set the settings to keep the open tabs and never had any problems until about 2 weeks ago. There was no recent update, no crash, nothing unusual. The history only shows the last 10 closed tabs, so that's of no use. This morning, it happened again with about 20 tabs and it's starting to really annoy me! 😠 I don't want to switch, but this is making me lose my trust in Firefox. Can anyone tell me what's going on??

I've had a few hundred tabs open for a few years and they never closed on their own. I usually bookmark some and open others on a regular basis. Never had any problems. But just now I opened my browser again and suddenly all of them were gone! Can anyone please help me? How can I restore them??

The handy links feature has a glitch. Tap the add (open) tab option to display the list of open tabs select the tab you want to put in handy links, but after selecting the actual tab that appears in handy links is a different tab.

I'm having a problem often, after a search, when I navigate to a result. Within a few seconds, there's a slight delay for processing and I will be back on my page of search results. It just seems like this is happening pretty often all of a sudden.

It seems like there's some reason it wasn't done with the previous page, and it's reloading? It could be a Google script gone awry, for all I know.

Maybe this would be a bug report, but I can't rule out a settings change or accidental touch inputs that cause my browsing problems. This aging phone's speed may be giving it difficulty processing touch input. Maybe the digitizer is being weird and interpreting a touch on the back button. Let me know what you think.

When I scroll through the tabs on Android, I often end up deleting them because my swiping isn't perfectly vertical. It would be nice if the sensitivity was decreased or if I could turn off swipe to delete.

I've been holding on to about 50 inactive tabs for quite awhile now, a couple of them for more than a year. No problems until just a few minutes ago most of them vanished without warning. All at once. What made them disappear, and can I get them back?

Hello everyone, I don't know where it comes from (my screen or moz update), but I have a problem I didn't have before. When I open the tabs menu, the option to close a tab by sliding it laterally is way too sensitive. When I slide vertically to navigate, I very often close one of my tabs. Very annoying. I checked in the parameters if there was an option to deactivate that (Especially that there are crosses on each tabs to close them. The lateral sliding is pretty useless). Is there an option in about/config to deactivate that parameter please ? Thanks in advance.

i really need to PERMANENTLY DISABLE the infernal, default auto-refresh session on return to already opened tab. tyranny of the default on Android.

if/when i want to refresh that session, i'll do so MANUALLY.

i want this, not only in alpha, but beta & standard, too. so, it just can't be buried in about:config, which is nanny-state removed from standard. it must be exposed in UI Settings.

i'm not the first or only to request this.

Hello, I've been having issues with the Firefox app on my Android ever since the most recent update on 4th of July. Whenever I tap the "tabs" button, the tabs viewer opens as always, but if I try to scroll and browse the tab, or if I try to close any of the visible tabs, the whole app crashes. Because of that, I can only switch between tabs by swiping, but it can be annoying if you're used to using many tabs like myself. I have cleared my cache multiple times and it didn't help. I am not too tech-savvy but is there any way to fix it? Thank you!

I think it would be more convenient if the list of inactive tabs opened in portions, starting with the newest ones, with an option to open the whole list in case someone needs that. That would allow for better performance and reduce the time spent scrolling to the end of the list

I kept shortcuts option enabled to add shortcut manually as per user choice. I don't want browser to add most recently visited websites to get add as shortcuts in tile form in homepage of firebox browser.

If I close some tabs and then close FF in the next period of time, more than half of the time when I open it again the tabs are still there. Could be a cache problem? OnePlus 6t here, last FF update installed
