Hi Mozilla team. There is some problem with downloading, since few weeks when I use Firefox for download any file/files my mobile signal gets dissappears, for few seconds. Due to that my call gets drop too. This is very serious issue. I tried every possible way to fix this, so I reinstall Firefox but I'm still facing the same problem.

When I download a file, a notification pops up when the download is complete. I find this quite annoying, especially when downloading file in a bit of rapid succession.

Is there some way to turn this off on FF mobile?

I tried... about:config > browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel on the nightly build, but after having created the option, it doesn't seem to work.

I would be forever indebted to any suggestions y'all can provide.

As the title says, is there a way to edit file's name before downloading it? Any extension or anything? As in, e.g I'd like to download a photo but change it's file name before I do so, so I don't have to go into files app on my phone in order to modify it. (Sorry if it's easy to do and I just can't find it but I'm super new to Mozilla and used Opera Mobile before, which had that option, so I'm used to it)

How do I download embedded pdfs. Example - Sample embedded PDF link

Select any Paper and Module from dropdowns. Embedded PDF will be loaded. How to download from here?

Hello Mozilla team, provide a way for us to view our downloading file in the app itself and not on the notification bar, for me it doesn't help at all. If not so, then is it really necessary for me to lose my downloading file when I clear the Mozilla app from my recent apps? Isnt it supposed to continue downloading even when the app is cleared? Please solve this.

Hello! I use this tab. Galaxy Tab A (2016), unfortunately it is not capable to safe files from Firefox, e.g. PDF files. Samsung browser is working but I like to use Firefox. Best regards Ted Ernhill

In older version I could download any document and save it to pdf,but this version you can not do it,and it disturbs a lot,so please fix it,and another problem this version is too slow to open it lurgs a lot. Thanx.

Hello, I tried to save a page as pdf = "pdf not generated". Then I tried again, seemed to work but couldn't open it. Any idea ? NB it is paying newspaper, I am a subscriber.

Anyone know how I can change the default PDF viewing options in Firefox Android?

Currently PDFs open by default within Firefox. Even though it's generating a dialogue asking to open in an external app.

By default, Firefox only downloads directly to the internal storage, and not the micro SD card I installed. Its become tedious to manually move everything to save phone space every time I download anything.

All the past forums said to use about:config, but I understand the newer Firefox removed that function as it would break the app due to some major internal changes.

Please add the function to set a download path for Firefox to send my files to, including to my SD card.

I need to change the download folder from my phone intern memory to my SD card, but I don't see the option to do it, I've seen forum post of people saying It can be done by entering about:config in the browser, but that doesn't work.
